Job Summary:

The Valuer is responsible for conducting accurate and timely valuations of plant, machinery, and vehicles across Kenya. This involves physical inspections, market research, data analysis, and preparation of comprehensive valuation reports. The Valuer will adhere to professional valuation standards and ethical guidelines.

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Land Economics, Real Estate, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional membership with a recognized valuation body in Kenya (e.g., Institution of Surveyors of Kenya – ISK) is preferred.

Experience & Skills:

• At least 3 years of experience in valuing plant and machinery, and/or vehicles.
• Experience in the Kenyan market is essential.
• Strong knowledge of valuation principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in using valuation software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to test drive vehicles.
• Knowledge of the Kenyan automotive market and legal regulations.
