Job Summary:

The Valuer is responsible for conducting accurate and timely valuations of plant, machinery, and vehicles across Kenya. This involves physical inspections, market research, data analysis, and preparation of comprehensive valuation reports. The Valuer will adhere to professional valuation standards and ethical guidelines.

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Land Economics, Real Estate, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional membership with a recognized valuation body in Kenya (e.g., Institution of Surveyors of Kenya – ISK) is preferred.

Experience & Skills:

• At least 3 years of experience in valuing plant and machinery, and/or vehicles.
• Experience in the Kenyan market is essential.
• Strong knowledge of valuation principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in using valuation software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to test drive vehicles.
• Knowledge of the Kenyan automotive market and legal regulations.

Qualifications, Experience, and Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in business administration, management, or a similar role.
• Proven experience developing and implementing process improvements.
• Experience leading an admin team of a professional service firm or a law firm.
• Familiarity with financial and facilities management principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, or Business IT from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience delivering projects in system integration, ERP, and software development; ideally Project Management delivery within different sectors.
• Experience with digital products will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Project Estimation, Planning, and Delivery Management.
