Waiter at Alba Hotel Meru

We are looking for a talented and experienced Waiter to join our team. The ideal can- didate should have a genuine passion for providing outstanding guest service, with ex- cellent skills in order taking, serving, and guest engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcome guests and provide food and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and equipment.
• Offer menu explanations and suggest wine pairings.
• Assist with guest queries and requests efficiently. Maximize revenue through upselling and- maintaining a high standard of service.
• Ensure that customers are correctly charged as required, present the bill and take payment from the customer in accordance with the procedures of the hotel.
• Comply with health, safety and environmental standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Hotel Management
• 2 years' experience in a similar position in a (4/5 star) Hotel.
• Commitment to professional values and integrity
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Very good command of written and spoken English.
• Able to work flexible hours
