This is a full-time on-site role for a Warehouse Administrator at TMD Kenya, located in Thika. The Warehouse Administrator will be responsible for stock control, inventory control, communication, customer service, and inventory management.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate stock records at all times ensuring real time match of physical stock vs ERP records
To provide weekly report on Stock holding & stock movement in the warehouse for analysis and effective implementation of stock level controls so as to support minimal cases of stock variances and stock outs.
Liaise with Service Advisors, procurement officer, Parts Assistants and Parts sales for timely issuance of requested parts
Ensure proper arrangement of parts into their respective bins
Oversee storage of parts particularly fragile items
Provide a monthly report on the Stores requirements and operational expenditure so as to ensure the warehousing is operating optimally.
Ensure compliance to stock control processes, SOP, After-sales policy and 5S guidelines.
Planning and execution of regular stock take/stock audit (spot check) to ascertain stock accuracy that no variances occur, highlight any anomalies
Effectively put in requests for purchase of items in view of lead time.
Drive customer service excellence to every aspect of the store in terms of availability of requested parts and issuance turn around.
In charge of closure of any nonconformity raised to warehouse.
Monitor dead/dormant inventory and handle them as per the Disposal Management policy at all times.
Qualifications
Accounting & Finance Bachelor’s Degree.
A diploma in an automotive related course is an added advantage
Proven experience of three years’ experience in warehouse management, preferably within an automotive environment.
Stock Control and Inventory Control skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Inventory management experience
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in inventory management software
Knowledge of automotive industry and spare parts is a plus
