    Product Specialist, TerraMatch, Restoration Initiative

    What you will do:

    User support and administration (90%)

    • Coordinate with the U.S.-based Product Specialist to create a seamless customer support experience, answering questions and providing feedback in a timely manner.
    • Onboard new African users of the TerraMatch product during application cycles and as they make the transition from application to funded project.
    • Fulfil technical support requests from project managers at WRI and partner organizations that use the product.
    • Create and update instructional and support materials to facilitate user success and satisfaction with the TerraMatch product.
    • Facilitate one-on-one and group trainings for users on new TerraMatch features and product capabilities.
    • Build team processes to improve the administrative functions of TerraMatch for project managers.
    • Support communications with product users around key updates, deadlines, and other product-related topics.

    Product development (10%)

    • Work with the user-experience research lead to better understand feedback from project developers; help incorporate user priorities into product features.
    • Work with the UX research lead to explore enhanced mobile application and offline functions for TerraMatch.

    What you will need:

    • Education: You have completed a Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in internet technology, geographical informational systems, data science, marketing and communications, or a related field.
    • Experience: You have 3+ years of full-time relevant work experience in communications and engagement, customer service, project management, or administrative fields.
    • You have trained people on processes and best practices in-person, virtually, and through written materials.
    • You have experience developing organizational and tracking systems to improve workflow for yourself and your team.
    • You have experience providing efficient and effective customer support to online users in Africa
    • Languages: You are proficient in written and spoken English and French
    • Requirements: Existing work authorization is required where this position is based. WRI is unable to authorize visa work authorization.
