About Scope Intervention

(Saving and Conservation of Our Planet Earth Intervention). is a Non-Governmental, Non-Profit, Non-Political Youth-Led Organization founded in 2012 to promote community based environmental conservation initiatives, fight climate change, improve communities resilience to climate c... read morehange, fight poverty and empower communities to be drivers of their own destiny.
The Organization was founded in 2012 by Kenfrey Katui; a young Kenyan Sociologist, Environmentalist and Human Rights Activist who applauded the need to empower local people as a way of building sustainable societies. He saw the need to promote collective responsibility in safeguarding our environment.
Scope Intervention employs human rights and responsibilities approach in building a safe and sustainable planet; a model that recognises responsibilities the local communities have towards their environment, while promoting protection of human rights and justice. Our most passionate team combines independent research, innovative policy development, practical ideas and effective advocacy to address the most critical issues affecting our environment and modern society.
Scope Intervention also hosts secretariat to the Scope Alliance; group of NGOs, CBOs, FBOs, Youth groups and women groups working at community level to fight climate change and promote socio-economic development. The alliance has a membership of over 200 organizations.
