    Accountant

    Job Purpose Statement:

    The Accountant is responsible for ensuring that all client funding transactions are reconciled and attributed to the correct funding accounts. The role will communicate reconciled information to other members of the payroll department to ensure accurate accounting for tax payments and associated refunds/payments needed out of our payroll systems. This role will ensure that they are current on all system and procedural changes to assist the customer better and the payroll department in balancing their account monthly.

    Responsibilities 

    • Manage accounting software and implement new features and updates.
    • Calculate all appropriate adjustments, deductions and credits working with customers.
    • Check data input and verify totals on forms prepared to ensure correct tax form completion.
    • Communicate payment information to internal departments as needed (accounting, tax and payroll).
    • Reconcile payments and funding from client accounts.
    • Setup and process General Ledger (GL) entries for clients.
    • Audit prior months data for debit and credit information processed after payroll processed.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred. 
    • 5 years of accounting experience.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
    • Experience in a multi-client environment is highly preferred.
    • Experience with Tally and related software tools.
    • Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications.
    • Strong organization, oral and written communication skills.
    • Growth driven and is a team mindset individual.
    • Analytical skills with particular attention to detail.
    • Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

    Team Lead – Admission Counselling Team

    Job Summary:

    Own the entire sales operations function for your team in Nairobi to ensure the organization meets its enrollment target and has the data, team and training in place to achieve targets in future intakes, while delivering a best-in-class learner experience.

    Job Description:

    Operations

    • Ensure attendance of students in various company events such as webinars, coffee with organization reps etc.
    • Regularly and systematically share feedback on lead quality with the respective channel owners.
    • Meet at least 2-3 students per week and document insights and learnings.
    • Provide daily reporting of the team’s results.

    Performance Management

    • Motivate the team members to improve their performance across all predefined parameters through the right level of mentoring and coaching in team sessions and one-on-ones.
    • Ensure counsellors’ productivity in terms of daily contacts made and conversion through the funnel.
    • Ensure CRM compliance for the team through audits and training.
    • Lead PIP processes for underperforming employees with the objective of supporting them to improve their performance.

    Training and Onboarding

    • Deliver both technical and non-technical training content to the new as well as existing team members.
    • Interview and onboard new admission counselors as per need basis

    Requirements

    • You are a passionate and seasoned telesales leader who has managed a large telesales/call center team (7- 8 years experience without frequent job shifts).
    • You love working with (and crushing!) sales targets.
    • You can implement and control the sales processes within your team.
    • You have experience with performance management.
    • You have experience working with CRMs.
    • Strong personality, You can train, motivate and drive ambition into a team to achieve its targets.
