    Area Sales Manager

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Regularly review sales data and create reports for management for primary and secondary sales.
    • Utilize business intelligence tools to provide sales insights to marketing and sales staff
    • Travel to organization locations within a given area to meet with and manage sales staff/distributor
    • Managing merchandizers, Van sales reps and Distributors
    • Identify both struggling and successful sales initiatives and explore ways to improve on sales metrics
    • Communicate actively with sales teams in a given area to help foster a team environment
    • Plan and execute sales meetings to help provide feedback and sales insights
    • Interview and train new sales employees, and overseeing other onboarding tasks as needed

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Degree in business related studies
    • 7+ years of FMCG sales experience in Nyanza/Lake Region with at least 3+ years of experience as in a similar role
    • Experience in sales of personal care products/ beauty or and cosmetics highly preferred.
    • Proven sales experience and knowledge, including familiarity with current trends in sales methods
    • Ability to Manage distributors.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Enhancing functionality of current applications including the ERP to cater for new business needs through development and deployment of new solutions.
    • Ensuring end users using Oracle ERP can accomplish their business objectives.

    Job Description

    To deliver Sales Volume, Profit and Market Execution targets in the assigned territory, growing the company business whilst building long-term Brand equity of the company Brand in Kenya.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Growing the company branded business whilst building the long-term brand equity in Kenya.
    • Providing input and implement a year business plan.
    • Define appropriate field sales and merchandising resource for optimum trade execution. Develop strong customer relationship including delivering of Annual Customer Plans aligned to channel plans.
    • Ensuring application of programs designed to enhance consumer brand equity,
    • Monitor distributor and trade pricing,
    • Ensure distributor capability efficiencies, outlet execution, and expansion benchmarks and objectives are set and met through the execution of distributor plans

    • Create and effectively communicate actions required for superior outlet execution by defining clear ownership and deadlines for all sales force.

    • Budgeting and management of sales expenses. Ensure Asset utilization is optimal is optimal by maintaining active database for all Trade Assets in Kenya.
    • Ensure cost of repairs and maintenance is optimized and value for money for the company is delivered.
    • Managing third parties that support sales and merchandising activities by ensuring excellence in execution to deliver value for money for the company.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Degree holder in business related field
    •  MBA will be an added advantage.
    • 10+ years experience in FMCG industry with at least 5 Years of experience in senior sales management.
    • Must have experience in managing a sales and marketing team in the FMCG Sector.
    • Hands on experience in distribution channel development with good track record of channel   management achievements in FMCG industry would be an essential competency

    Accountant - QuickBooks Online

    Job Description

    Reporting to: Finance Manager- Kenya   

    Job Brief:

    Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will be a valued member of Kenya’s  Finance team  responsible  for accounting, taxation, procurement operations as well as office and asset administration. The position will play a critical role in ensuring smooth office and asset administration as well as timely and accurate accounting and monthly closes that will help in availing reliable monthly financial accounts for the management.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Post sales in ETR machine
    • Prepare and file various KRA taxes - VAT, WHT, WHVAT, PAYE etc. for consistent compliance.
    • Record accounting transactions on QuickBooks Online
    • Perform bank & GL reconciliations
    • Maintain prepayments, Accruals, A/P and A/R schedules
    • Maintain the FAR, manage the company storage/inventory and post depreciation
    • Participate in the monthly/annual close processes
    • Reconcile travel & Per Diem advances
    • Initiate Mpesa payments and Bank Transfers for approval on request
    • Maintain and manage company Petty Cash
    • Draft LPOs for approval on request
    • Generate E-slips for Statutory deductions after payroll approval
    • Participate in the external audit process
    • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the management from time to time                                                  

    Minimum Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor of Commerce (Bcom) in Finance or Accounting
    • At least Part II of CPA
    • QuickBooks (MUST) skills- including management of competencies
    • Solid Bank Reconciliations, VAT as well as supporting schedules like Prepayments, Accruals, A/Ps and A/Rs within the application
    • Generation of TIMS compliant sales invoices and fling taxes (PAYE, WHT, WHVAT, VAT etc.) on itax General Ledger accounting and Bank Reconciliations
    • IT savvy- able to easily embrace & adopt new technology in finance & Accounting
