    Compliance Officer

    Job Purpose:

    The Compliance Officer will work closely with senior management, finance and administrative and human resources staff to ensure compliance with USAID/WV Tumikia Mtoto and CSA regulations and procedures

    Desired Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

    1. A Degree in business administration or accounting; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
    2. 7+ years’ experience with USAID funded projects, contract administration and management.
    3. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and USAID Acquisition Regulation (AIDAR).
    4. Demonstrated experience with DCAA audits and Incurred Cost Submission, including resolution of complex audit issues in a timely manner.
    5. Experience with USIAD instruments and audits, including both Cooperative Agreements and Contracts.
    6. Strong leadership and analytical skills.
    7. Excellent oral and written communications skills.
    8. Willingness to travel within counties.
    9. Fluency in written and spoken English.

    Administrative Assistant

    Duty Station: Nairobi/Kiambu County Duration: 1 year, renewable contract

    Job Purpose

    1. Reporting to the Project Coordinator Nairobi/Kiambu County, the administrative assistant will sit in the Thika and Nairobi Project offices and will amongst other roles Support CSA as follows
    2. Support in planning of logistics and its implementation across the 10 Ward in Nairobi County and 7 wards in Kiambu County respectively.
    3. Support with printing needs at the office levels and supporting the Ward teams with printing and delivery of the same to the safe spaces
    4. Support Fumigation and cleaning of Ward offices as well as ward level safe spaces as a measure to mitigate against CIVID–19
    5. Receive all visitors and act as the first point of contact for CSA enquiries at the Nairobi and Thika Office
    6. Work with procurement office for any necessary project–related procurement
    7. Responsible for the compilation, processing and distribution of project products including regular reports.
    8. Maintain an up–to–date inventory of all project items and procurement.
    9. Maintain relevant databases and filing systems.
    10. Support the relationship management of key players in the primary key area activities health care space, strategic partners.
    11. Perform any other additional duties as assigned by CSA

    Desired Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

    1. Diploma in administrative, public relations, communications or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
    2. Proficiency in English and Swahili language (written and spoken)
    3. Strong documentation/report writing and communications skills.
    4. Good interpersonal skills
    5. Be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
    6. Decisive and able to work with minimal supervision
    7. Ability to communicate with Government Officials and other Stakeholders.
    8. Computer skills (familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point)

    Ward Coordinators

    Duty Station: Nairobi County Duration: 1 year, renewable contract

    Job Purpose:

    Reporting to the program Officer based in Nairobi the Ward Coordinators will be responsible for the day–to–day implementation of the DREAMS Tumikia Mtoto initiative in the program wards in either Nairobi or Kiambu County. The Ward Coordinator will work closely with other DREAMS teams and in liaison with Government Line Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Devolution and Planning, and the Ministry of Interior and coordination of national government.

    The officer will establish sustainable partnerships and community linkages to enhance positive behavior change and increased access to healthcare services.

    Desired Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

    1. Diploma in social or health sciences from a recognized Institution. An under graduate degree will be an added advantage.
    2. A good command of English and Kiswahili (written and spoken)
    3. Strong documentation/report writing and communications skills.
    4. Good community engagement skills and ability to organize/conduct Community/county meetings with gatekeepers on health and livelihood related issues
    5. Training and program management skills
    6. Advocacy skills/experience in USAID –funded program
    7. Good interpersonal skills
    8. Ability to communicate efficiently with young people using all relevant approaches including social networking
    9. Computer skills (familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point)

    Data Assistant

    Job Description

    Reporting to the Monitoring and Evaluation officer and program Officer, the Monitoring and Evaluation assistant will be responsible for the day–to–day monitoring and evaluation of the DREAMS initiative program wards in both Nairobi and Kiambu Counties Respectively. The Data  assistant will work closely with other DREAMS TUMIKIA MTOTO teams and in liaison with Government line Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Devolution and Planning, and the Ministry of Interior and coordination of national government. The officer will ensure timely collection, compilation and update of information and data from the field into DREAMS
    database as per the program SoP.

    Desired Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

    1. Diploma in Statistics/ Health Records/ Information Technology/Monitoring and Evaluation from a recognized institution, an under graduate degree will be an added advantage
    2. Good data management and Entry skills.
    3. Database design, maintenance and analysis with at least SPSS, STATA, EXCEL applications.
    4. A good command of English and Kiswahili
    5. Strong documentation/report writing and communications skills.
    6. Training and program management skills
    7. Strong understanding of HIV/AIDS programs, experience working in care and treatment, and HTC programs will be an added advantage.
    8. Good interpersonal skills
    9. Ability to communicate efficiently with young people using all relevant approaches including social networking.
