For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -

• Diploma in Baking Technology or its equivalent

OR

• Diploma in Food and Beverage
• At least 3 years' experience in bakery

Duties at this level will entail

• Baking
• Maintaining and operating equipment used in the bakery
• Carrying out minor installation of equipment in the bakery
•  Troubleshooting
• Monitoring for proper usage of equipment and machines
• Monitor inventory and re-order levels for consumables within their levels
•  Assist in marketing and sale of produce to ensure reduced wastage in the bakery.

• Bachelor of Degree in Automotive Engineering /Technology Pedagogy is an added advantage.
• Experience in teaching will be an added advantage

• Facilitating the Trainees;
• Preparing learning plans, session plans, learning guides, trainees assessments, records of work andother relevant records
• Assessing and evaluating trainees' performance and provision of remedial action;
• Maintaining and improving trainees' discipline;
• Guiding and counseling trainees';
• Organizing curricula and co-curricular activities;
• Ensuring all assets, equipment and machines in your jurisdiction are secured

Duties and Responsibilities at this level will entail: -

• Maintaining and operating equipment used in Laboratories and Workshops in support of trainingservices;
• Carrying out minor installation of equipment;
• Carrying out simple repairs to equipment in their area of specialization.
• Supervision of students during practical lessons;
• Troubleshooting; and
• Issuing tools and equipment to students and ensuring their safety;
• Monitoring for proper usage of equipment and machines;
•  Instruct and give students hands on experience on use of tools and equipment;
•  Monitor inventory and re-order levels for consumables within their levels.
