    New Markets Digital Acquisition Manager

    As the Digital Acquisition Manager, you will have an exciting role working with the Non-Member Markets Team, a digital fundraising program where Save the Children raise funds in countries where we don’t have a Member presence.

    You will be in charge of the design, execution and overseeing of a long term competent and innovating digital engagement and fundraising strategy, as well as an annual action plan for the online fundraising activities, ensuring that they are aligned with Save the Children fundraising strategy.

    This role sits within the Digital Public Engagement Team, an agile team, already working virtually before the pandemic, which provides strategic support and specialist technical guidance to our 27+ Members, most of them in Asia, Oceania, Europe and the Americas. This team also focuses on reaching out to new audiences and engaging with them in non-Member markets with a special focus on a list of key markets.
    The post holder works collaboratively with other roles within the Digital team, Content and Creative Unit as well as the Fundraising Hub.

    In order to be successful you will bring/have:

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

    Essential

    • Experience in digital fundraising or e-commerce designing and executing digital engagement and fundraising strategies. 
    • Relevant experience developing digital engagement and awareness campaigns
    • Deep knowledge of Search and Display Campaigns
    • Deep knowledge of Paid Social
    • Deep knowledge of lead generation and conversion programs
    • Deep knowledge of email marketing and automations. 
    • Working knowledge of web development and web analytics 
    • Agency management experience. 
    • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. 
    • Experience in both profit and non-profit sector would be an asset. 
    • Strong analytical solutions oriented skills
    • Capacity to build and maintain excellent relations and to work effectively in a multicultural and multi-ethnic environment respecting diversity
    • Fluent in English, additional language skills would be an asset

    Desirable

    • Experience with GA and Data Studio for reporting
    • Experience using major web content management systems, especially Drupal.
    • Experience working internationally with different markets
    • Ideally, experience working in the INGO sector.
    • Experience in cloud-based CRM solutions a plus (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc).
    • Proven project management skills delivering complex projects on time and on budget with a strong knowledge of all the financial aspects of digital fundraising/marketing including analysis of costs/income, ROI, conversion and donor/client retention data and all other relevant KPIs.
    • Strong personal, organisational and self-management skills; with an ability to lead and work in teams and motivate others
    • A self-starter using initiative to see opportunities to achieve objectives in this role, working home-based
    • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
    • Strong IT skills particularly in Microsoft products
    • Ability to articulate the work of Save the Children with passion
    • A willingness to travel for in-person events as required.

    Global Internal Communications Manager

    This role will be based in a new Global Internal Communications unit, which forms part of our wider Global Corporate Communications Team. This new unit is responsible for developing and delivering simple, informative and inspiring communications that will make our staff feel valued, motivated and proud to work as part of our global movement.

    The Global Internal Communications Manager will track key metrics and manage our internal engagement tool, identifying key learnings and innovations in internal communications. The post holder works collaboratively with communications and HR teams, our strategy function, as well the CEO’s office.

    HRIS System Support Administrator

    Role Purpose:

    As a member of the global IT team and reporting into the Global HRIS Team Lead, the post-holder will be one of a team of System Administrators who will develop deep understanding of end-to-end system functionality of a new global Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud solution, including Taleo and Oracle Recruitment Cloud. The post holder will work as part of a team providing level 1& 2 support to end users and HR super users around Oracle HCM Cloud and Taleo. He/she will also configure and validate system localizations for Save the Children Association within the applications, by gathering localisations.

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

    Essential

    • A keen interest in developing a career in IT/HRIS (human resources information systems)
    • Experience in interacting with end users and other stakeholders (or equivalent experience with customer support)
    • Experience of providing technical support of HR applications at any level
    • Outstanding customer service orientation and follow-up skills
    • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
    • Ability to learn new web/collaborative systems and applications quickly
    • Ability to work well under pressure
    • Ability to quickly understand technology, system processes, and to communicate it to non-technical staff

    Senior Economist

    Role Purpose:

    As a Senior Economist (team lead), you will hold responsibility for providing global leadership in economics analysis and economic approaches to drive impact, evidence generation and learning. This role will work as part of the global Evidence and Learning team in the Programme Quality and Impact department to drive value for money across programmes and partnerships across the Save the Children movement. You will have a particular focus on cost effectiveness and cost efficiency analysis and enabling teams to drive improvements in effectiveness and efficiency in our work, and to consider questions of scalability and affordability as Save the Children seeks to amplify our impact through influencing, without relying on income growth and replication of projects to do so. You will represent the organisation regularly with external experts and will lead on engagement with technical partners for the movement. You will be a recognised expert in your field, providing leadership on complex assignments and projects, and providing oversight and guidance to others in resolving complex issues in relation to economic evaluation and analysis. You will lead a team of economics advisors and be an effective internal networker and influencer as you drive organisation-wide strategy and provide leadership on economic approaches across the Save the Children movement. You will also play an important role in sharing your expertise, building the capacity of others, and providing valued guidance to colleagues.

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

    • Proven experience using economic evaluation/VfM evidence to make the economic case for programming or advocacy options, including both (a) evidence of cost-efficiency and cost-effectiveness of proposed approaches and (b) evidence of the how the economic evidence may be used for decision making
    • Proven skills in economic evaluation and/or VfM analysis with international development projects; preferably familiar with the ‘4Es’ value for money framework
    • Demonstrated skills in quantitative and qualitative data, including but not limited to cost-effectiveness analysis research design, data collection, analysis and presentation, and communication of results
    • Ensures that evaluations and research are effectively and efficiently managed
    • Strengthens evidence and learning uptake through analysis and collaboration
    • Translates and presents data to promote its use for programme, policy and advocacy decision-making
    • Works effectively and creatively with colleagues to find ‘best possible’ technical solutions to fit real world situations and available parameters
    • Ability to influence, collaborate, and liaise with a wide range of people at all levels and across different cultures and act with credibility, tact, and diplomacy
    • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize, synthesise and present technical information to non-technical audiences
    • Knowledge and experience in capacity building and enhancing competencies around economic evaluation, research and learning including design, data collection, data entry, analysis, and reporting, across different cultures and contexts
    • Proven proficiency using relevant software packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis programs (e.g. SPSS, STATA, Dioptra)
    • Ability and willingness to travel a minimum of three weeks per year
    • Proven people management skills, with an ability to identify, attract, develop and retain high-quality staff and successfully support them
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain focus to achieve results
    • Verbal and written fluency in English

    Desirable:

    • Additional languages, particularly French, Spanish and/or Arabic.
