    Human Capital Assistant

    We are seeking to recruit a Human Capital Assistant to join our dynamic Human Capital team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day HR operations, with a key focus on payroll administration, employee records management, recruitment coordination, and ensuring compliance with statutory and Company requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and within the required timelines.
    • Ensure payroll reconciliations and statutory deductions are accurate and submitted on time.
    • Maintain and update employee records, HRIS, and personnel files.
    • Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new employees.
    • Coordinate employee confirmations, contract renewals, transfers, and exits.
    • Administer leave records and attendance management.
    • Assist in the implementation of performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
    • Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate HR documentation.
    • Respond to employee HR-related queries professionally and promptly.
    • Ensure compliance with labour laws, Company policies, and HR best practices.
    • Provide administrative support to the Human Capital Department as assigned.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration (Human Resource Option), or a related field.
    • Must be a registered member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
    • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a Human Resource role.
    • Hands-on payroll processing experience is mandatory.
    • Good knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and statutory compliance requirements.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience with HRIS and payroll systems will be an added advantage.

    Legal Assistant

    We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support the Company's legal function by providing legal, compliance, and corporate governance support while ensuring the organization's legal interests are safeguarded.
    Key Responsibilities
    Contract Management

    • Draft, review, and vet contracts, Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), and other legal agreements.
    • Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies.
    • Maintain an organized contract management system and monitor contract renewals.

    Litigation & Dispute Resolution

    • Monitor and follow up on ongoing legal matters and court cases.
    • Liaise with external advocates and other legal service providers.
    • Prepare legal reports, case summaries, and management updates.
    • Coordinate the preparation and filing of legal documentation.

    Legal Compliance & Risk Management

    • Maintain and update legal registers and statutory records.
    • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting the business.
    • Identify and escalate legal and regulatory risks within the required timelines.
    • Support compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

    Legal Advisory

    • Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions on employment, commercial, contractual, and operational matters.
    • Support Management by providing timely legal guidance to facilitate informed decision-making.
    • Assist in reviewing Company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.

    Corporate Governance

    • Support corporate governance activities and maintain governance documentation.
    • Prepare Board and Committee documentation as required.
    • Maintain statutory records and assist with regulatory filings.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution.
    • Diploma in Law (Advocates Training Programme) will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of three (3) years' relevant experience in a legal or corporate environment.
    • Sound knowledge of Kenyan commercial law, employment law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
    • Strong legal drafting, contract review, and legal research skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
