    Information Risk Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Day to day Informational risk management process through conducting risk workshops with business and IT to identify, assess, manage, monitor and report risks on a continued basis.
    • Ensure that implemented systems are in line with KCB systems development life cycle as per KCB Information Security policy.
    • Liaise with Risk Heads in subsidiaries with a view of ensuring that Group IT standards are met.
    •  Proactively anticipate potential threats and vulnerabilities and provide guidance in coordination with IT department on effective responses or control measures within subsidiaries.
    • Reporting on incidents and complaints about ICT services.
    •  Conduct periodic IT risk assessments to ensure that all risks have been identified have been brought to the attention of management and appropriate control measures implemented to mitigate the risks in subsidiaries.
    • Evaluate the technological direction and ensure the bank is positioned to take advantage of emerging technologies.
    •  Pre- and post-implementation review of ICT or ICT related projects for Kenya and subsidiaries.
    •  Review of Information Systems audit reports and tracking implementation of the recommendations thereof.
    • Provide information risk consultation and guidance during system, application development and e-product development to assure that security concerns are addressed in the process.
    •  Management and maintenance of Informational risk management database.

    The Person 

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Professional Qualifications CISA, CISM, CRISC.
    • Master’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems will be an added advantage.
    • 2 Years Full understanding and command of SQL programming language and fourth generation language C sharp or VB.net programming language.
    • 2 Years Prior experience with database Management especially oracle or SQL Server 2005/2008.
    • 2 Years’ Experience in Application Development and Web Development
    • 2 Years’ Experience in object-oriented programming (preferably using .NET framework)

    Senior Manager – Technology Change Management

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: MUST NOT BE MORE THAN 10

    • To create, maintain and communicate Change management strategies and policies. Ensuring all stakeholders across the Bank are well versed on the change management process and understand their responsibilities.
    • Responsible for end to end deployment and implementation of approved changes.
    • Ensure governance of the Change Management Policy and procedures through continuous reporting, training and education.
    • To define and measure success metrics and monitor change process & problems. Highlight areas for improvement through continual service improvement program, working with key stakeholders and identifying trends through reporting.
    • Lead and coordinate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and activities.
    • Provide assurance on risk mitigation and minimize the impact of change related events by chairing of regular Change Management meetings with Application, Development, Infrastructure and Business areas and any other stakeholder. 
    • Responsible for day-to-day oversight and management of changes within the change management process. Ensuring changes are moved through the lifecycle and the necessary assessment/approval is carried out.
    • Develop ways and means to optimize the change delivery pipeline providing stakeholder visibility and ensuring efficient delivery.
    • Monitor and Manage IT Change Demand pipeline ensuring constraints are identified and flagged for action by relevant owners. 
    • Maintain a release plan for changes while ensuring stakeholder alignment
    • Lead the division in entrenching Agile Change delivery.
    • Lead the division in monitoring the performance of change against expected benefits.

    DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES: NOT MORE THAN 5 OF THE MOST TYPICAL

    • Provide oversight over the change management process, supervising the work of change management team and handling escalations.
    • Create awareness and continuous education on the change management activities and stakeholder roles in the process.
    • Provide change reporting into the status of various stakeholder requests and where necessary matters requiring management attention.
    • Engage stakeholders on areas of priority and focus for the change management delivery pipeline.
    • Review and update the change management processes, policies and guidelines as appropriate.
