Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Central Catering and Accommodation Services Department.
- Develop, implement, and monitor departmental policies, strategic plans, and operational work plans in alignment with institutional objectives.
- Ensure high standards of service delivery, food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and customer care across catering and accommodation services.
- Supervise, manage, and maintain discipline among departmental staff, promoting professionalism, teamwork, and positive engagement with students and other clients.
- Oversee human resource functions within the department, including staff performance management, welfare, and capacity development.
- Prepare, manage, and control the departmental budget, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and value for money.

- Provide comprehensive nursing care, health education, and counselling to patients in line with established clinical guidelines.
- Assist in meeting patients’ basic care needs, including hygiene, feeding, mobility, and general comfort.
- Monitor, record, and interpret patients’ vital signs, and maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and reports.
- Identify changes in patients’ conditions and promptly escalate complex or critical cases to the Chief Clinical Officer or relevant clinician.
- Assist medical officers and clinicians during clinical procedures, including specimen collection, administration of medication, and intravenous therapy.
- Carry out approved nursing procedures such as wound dressing, bed bathing, and basic patient care, referring complex cases as appropriate.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the conduct of practical skills sessions by technologists and students to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Liaise with academic staff, and relevant departments to coordinate practical sessions, timetables, equipment requirements, and work plans.
- Prepare, set up, and ensure availability of laboratory equipment, chemicals, drugs, and other materials prior to practical sessions, including running trial demonstrations where necessary.
- Support lecturers, technologists, and students during laboratory sessions by providing technical guidance and facilitating effective skills delivery.
- Ensure effective coordination and optimal utilization of laboratory resources, including equipment, consumables, and learning materials.
- Maintain custody and proper management of laboratory equipment and apparatus, including inventory control, cataloguing, and tracking movement and usage.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, including student practical attendance, results tracking, equipment logs, and maintenance records.
- Ensure proper cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the skills laboratory in compliance with standard laboratory and infection prevention practices.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality assurance procedures, including reporting equipment breakdowns and coordinating maintenance and calibration.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and contribute to research and continuous improvement of laboratory practices and technologies.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency calls and provide pre-hospital emergency care, first aid, and basic to intermediate life support in accordance with established protocols.
- Assess patients’ conditions at the scene and during transit, and provide appropriate emergency interventions to stabilize patients.
- Administer emergency care procedures including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), airway management support, bleeding control, wound care, and immobilization of fractures.
- Assist in the safe lifting, handling, transfer, and positioning of patients to and from the ambulance and healthcare facilities.
- Monitor, record, and report patients’ vital signs and clinical status during transit, ensuring accurate handover to receiving health facilities.
- Assist medical teams in emergency response situations and support coordination with hospitals and other emergency care providers.
- Ensure proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of ambulance equipment, emergency kits, and medical supplies.
- Maintain inventory and readiness of emergency medical supplies and report shortages or equipment faults promptly.
- Accurately document all emergency responses, patient assessments, interventions, and handover reports in line with clinical protocols.
- Participate in continuous professional development, emergency drills, and training to maintain competence in pre-hospital emergency care.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
