- As the Clinical mentor – Antimicrobial Stewardship, you are in charge of providing individuals mentoring & tutoring support to learners as well as through group trainings. This aims to promote the value of clinical mentoring, IPC and AMR in our programs and around the world. If selected, you will first undergo the AMS training on the Tembo platform (online Learning platform) and will then be trained in clinical mentoring. Mentees are attributed to a specific mentor based on the mentor's field of expertise, language and availability.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide individual mentoring & tutoring support to learners (75%)
- Remotely via phone/online calls and chats, e-mails (2h/week/learner)
- Build a quality mentoring relationship with each learner by establishing a mentoring mutual agreement and following-up on individual development plan, based on learners’ self-assessment in the different competency areas of their job and on the context’s opportunities and constraints
- Lead and guide the learners, based on the curriculum, resources and learning activities made available on Tembo, including readings, forums and learner journal
- Create or adapt and curate additional resources depending on learner’s specific needs
- Assist the learners to orientate themselves in the course (where to find the information on Tembo Learning Management System (LMS): means of communication, assessment system and criteria, course calendar; referring to AMR clinical coordinator or Tembo helpdesk for specific issues, etc.)
- Assure good progress in the course, completing all the work-based assignments, including supporting the learner identifying and solving obstacles throughout the course
- Assess the outcome of the learning (refine/tailor assignments, give feedback on assignments, quizzes, and case studies)

- Prepare and facilitate interactive live group sessions, webinars and journal clubs (3/module)
- Encourage peer-learning and learning community building through creating and moderating discussion forums on Tembo LMS, group chats, etc.
- Follow-up on buddy system and group works
Administration, monitoring and evaluation (5%)
- Participate in teams meeting
- Collect data and report on learners’ scores, participation, progress, satisfaction, obstacles
- Debrief and share proactively with other clinical mentors and AMR clinical mentoring coordinator to improve the learning experience
Assessment of the learning (transversal)
- Participate in the definition of the assessment marking criteria
- Evaluate and certify the competencies developed, thanks to the detailed assessment plan set
- Give feedback on the accomplishment of tasks and performance, the mode of operation and the evolution of the participant learning through the review and output assessment
Representation & raising awareness on AMR learning, Clinical mentoring and MSF academy
- Interact with all key stakeholders around the projects to assure good planning & good learning conditions for the learners
- Share experience and provide technical expertise in the field of AMR & clinical mentoring with the contracting office team and any other stakeholders, collaborating closely with the clinical mentoring coordinator and in line with the subject matter experts' recommendations (AMR/ID or IPC Advisors). Engage in the relevant meetings of the contracting office
- Participate in the promotion of the MSF Academy learning programs and approaches
- Participate in the community of practices related to AMR and/or IPC as well as the clinical mentoring one
Education & Experience
- Medical Doctor or Clinical pharmacy degree, preferably with a master or postgraduate degree in Infectious Disease, Antimicrobial resistance or related areas
- Minimum of 5 years clinical practice experience with expertise in Antimicrobial resistance, AMS or Antibiotic Stewardship is mandatory
- Work experience in African or Middle East or Asian countries is mandatory
- MSF international field experience in different context is a strong asset
- Experience in hands-on clinical mentorship / preceptorship or as tutor, coach or trainer as well in supporting staff with e-learning and/or remote training activities is an asset

Main Purpose
- Performing autonomously, complex / advanced servicing, maintenance and repair of MSF vehicles and other engines according to MSF standards and procedures, in order to ensure vehicles are in perfect running conditions.
Performing autonomously and ensuring, all necessary complex / advanced maintenance and repair of MSF vehicles and mechanical equipment to ensure they are in perfect condition for their use. This includes the following tasks :
- Performing maintenance according to the instructions in the logbook, ensuring all types of services to all vehicles are done on time (i.e. mini A, medium B, and full C, and special services referred in the logbook when possible).
- Testing all vehicles after each service is concluded and before it is handed back to its driver
- Keeping a record of vehicle’s driver remarks, and carrying out repairs if needed (vehicles and other mechanical equipment) and filling in service, repair or vehicle log book. Reporting to the line manager any problem related to MSF vehicles
- In the case of a breakdown, making a diagnosis, informing the line manager and after approval carrying out any complex / advanced repairs needed.
- Following up the validity of all documents (annual inspections, insurance or any other required documents)
- Assisting in the briefing or training of drivers regarding vehicle services and maintenance
- Managing the stock of consumable items, filling in the stock cards, carrying out physical stock inventories, executing orders necessary for renewing stock, and avoiding any shortage.
- Responsible for the equipment and tools, including extinguishers, checking they are correctly and safely used, maintaining and renewing them when necessary and keeping the inventory updated.
- Keeping working area clean and tidy
- Ensuring that all record sheets and books related to maintenance are always completed and preparing needed reports before and after any repair or required maintenance.

Objective of the Position:
- Organizing and ensuring medical consultations to the target population providing treatment to patients within the scope of his/her medical competencies and referring them when appropriate, according to MSF protocols, procedures and the universal hygiene standards in order to guarantee quality and efficiency of the service provided.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
She/he will perform the following main tasks, among others:
- Ensuring the implementation and standardization of MSF clinical policies, tools, and hygiene protocols in order to minimize clinical risks and to guarantee the quality of patient care management. Promoting and maintaining confidentiality regarding all patient cases and records.
- Implementing diagnosis, prescription and prevention procedures that fall under the scope of his/her competencies applying medical knowledge, asking appropriate questions to patients and following protocols in force as well as using laboratory services when necessary, in order to ensure a correct implementation of the medical treatments and to refer patients when appropriate.
- Participating in the planning and supervision, in close coordination with other supervisors, the HR processes (sizing, staff shifts, recruitment, training, evaluation, development and communication) of the team in order to ensure both the sizing and the amount of knowledge required, improve people triage capabilities, their motivation and commitment and their active participation in teaching the targeted population on therapeutic and preventive protocols.

- Familiarize with the existing code and label writing rules.
- Review the proposed set of rules for codification. Propose if needed enhancement on rules to improve the final result. Set up new draft rules for missing groups of articles and clean up existing group of articles.
- Enter these rules in UniData including related label blocks in the code & label generator.
- Apply these rules to articles (outside Unidata, i.e. in Excel), prioritizing standard articles.
- Apply the label writing rules to these articles in English and French.
- Share the proposed new codes and labels with the iWG and the ESC specialist for review before adapting them in UniData.
- Make sure codes and labels of construction and related- articles correspond with those in the attached descriptions of these articles.
Write descriptions for Construction and shelter-related articles
- Familiarize with the existing descriptions and the guidelines for writing them.
- Review the existing valid descriptions and propose improvements (based on priorities).
