    Credit Analyst

     Job Description

     Duties

    • Ensure credit files received from the Credit relationship officers have all the required documents as indicated in the checklist.
    • Responsible in credit risk analysis of loan cases before presentation to the credit committee.
    • Ensure that loans approved are perfected before file presentation to the supervisor.
    • Insurance premium management.
    • Liaison person with service providers and custodian of requisite registers and files.
    • Ensure compliance with the credit workflow process.
    • Monitor Loan portfolio asset quality on an ongoing basis
    • Monitor vehicle tracking systems management.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business studies, management, statistics, finance, mathematics, accounting economics or any other relevant field.
    • Professional related course and or CoP in insurance an advantage.
    • Computer proficiency.
    • Prior experience an advantage but NOT a requirement.

    • Analytical skill.
    • Problem-solving and teamwork
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • High level of emotional intelligence.

    Accounts Assistant

    Job Description

    Duties.

    • Bookkeeping.
    • Accounts management and reconciliations.
    • Budgetary and inventory control
    • Preparing financial projections.
    • Custodian of the asset register and other financial related registers.
    • Extract system generated reports for checks and analysis.
    • Co-ordinate the external audit assignment.
    • Conduct continuous appraisal of internal control systems.
    • Compliance with internal and external requirements.

    Qualification Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Related Field
    • KCSE mean grade of C+
    • Minimum CPA II
    • Certificate in Computer Literacy
    • Proficiency in insurance as an added advantage.
    • Basic training in Enterprise risk management will also be considered as an added advantage.
    • Prior experience an advantage but NOT a requirement.

    Personal Attributes/skills.

    • Attention to detail
    • Problem solving and organizational skills.
    • Analytical and good  interpersonal skill
    • Conversant with accounting software e.g. Quick Books
    • Assertiveness.
    • Multitasking ability.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
