JOB DESCRIPTION

• The Water Treatment Plant Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the plant's water purification, filtration, and waste water treatment systems to ensure reliable supply of process water that meets production and regulatory quality standards. The role ensures consistent plant operations, compliance with environmental requirements, and efficient use of resources.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Water Technology, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years in operation and maintenance of industrial water treatment and wastewater systems, preferably in a food or beverage manufacturing plant.
• Proficiency in operation of RO systems, sand and carbon filters, softeners, and dosing systems.
• Basic understanding of PLC-based control systems and instrumentation.
• Knowledge of water chemistry, treatment processes, and analytical testing. Familiarity with environmental compliance requirements (NEMA, KEBS).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Commitment to hygiene, safety, and sustainability standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Business related study.
• At least 2 to 3 years experience in similar role handling sales preferably for an FMCG or service brand.
• Ability to prepare daily activity reports for the designated market region and time management.
• Ensure all new/existing customer inquiries are addressed satisfactorily, while striving to increase customer database within designated market region.
• Deliver daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Computer literate with Basic ERP knowledge.
• Good communication, negotiation skills and familiar with competitive nature of the sector.
• Place of work: Nakuru with 20-30% travel

• The Control and Automation Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and optimization of electrical, instrumentation and automation systems across the dairy processing plant. The role ensures continuous operation of process equipment, high plant reliability, and adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years in industrial automation, preferably in a dairy or food processing environment.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs (Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley, or similar).
• Familiarity with SCADA/HMI systems and industrial communication networks (Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
• Hands-on experience with variable frequency drives, soft starters, and control panels.
• Good understanding of process control instrumentation and calibration.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Strong commitment to hygiene and safety standards.
