    Accounts Receivable

    • Our client, a retail company with a unique business model centered around providing clean and affordable drinking water solutions to communities, is looking to recruit an Accounts Receivable . This role will involve managing and optimizing sales finance functions across multiple African countries. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, efficiency and compliance of sales ledger processes. The ideal candidate Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with managing the sales ledger, including invoice processing, credit control and customer account management.
    • Support in preparing accurate and timely sales invoices, credit notes and statements.
    • Help reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
    • Assist in debt collection efforts and follow up on overdue payments.
    • Collaborate with the Group Sales Finance Manager to maintain positive customer relationships, address inquiries and resolve billing-related issues.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and company policies in all sales finance activities.
    • Assist in generating sales finance reports and providing data to senior management.
    • Collaborate closely with the sales finance team to facilitate workflow and training.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or any other related Field with CPA or ACCA qualification.
    • Must have 4 years and above working experience.
    • Must be Proficient in ERP & Excel.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Financial Accountant – Group Accounts Payable

    Our client, a retail company with a unique business model centered around providing clean and affordable drinking water solutions to communities, is looking to hire a Financial Accountant – Group Accounts Payable . This role will involve managing and enhancing the Group’s Purchase Ledger functions in various African countries. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, efficiency and compliance of purchase ledger processes. The ideal candidate Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee end-to-end processes, including invoice processing, reconciliation and payment authorization for multiple countries.
    • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships as well as negotiate payment terms and promptly resolve inquiries and discrepancies.
    • Maintain a cash flow forecast of all liabilities needing to be settled in future periods.
    • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial reporting requirements in each country while also preparing and presenting regular purchase ledger reports to management.
    • Record and analyze payable Input VAT and Excise Duties.
    • Manage general expenses, accrual accounting, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Manage loan financing received to ensure it is up to date and repayments are made on time.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or any other related Field with CPA or ACCA qualification.
    • Must have 7 years and above working experience.
    • Must be Proficient in ERP & Excel.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

    Financial Planning Lead – Rwanda

    • Our client, a retail company with a unique business model centered around providing clean and affordable drinking water solutions to communities, is seeking to recruit a Financial Planning Lead to be based in their Rwanda Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and strategic financial planning while maintaining a strong financial control environment. The ideal candidate Must have over 8 years experiences in Financial Analysis.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the Group Financial Planning Manager to develop and manage forward-looking financial planning processes at the OPCO level.
    • Assist in the creation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial plans and forecasts for your OPCO.
    • Work closely with the Group Financial Controller to establish and maintain a robust financial control environment at the OPCO level.
    • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities specific to your OPCO.
    • Assist in the preparation and review of local financial reports, including assisting Group Financial Control to collate management accounts.
    • Ensure compliance with local taxation and regulatory requirements in your OPCO. Stay current with changes in local tax laws and regulations.
    • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of financial controls and procedures specific to your OPCO.
    • Identify areas where controls can be strengthened or improved.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting
    • Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience.
    • Certified Public Accounting or equivalent.
    • Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize.
    • Able to act independently and take responsibility.
    • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Detail-oriented and ability to connect dots across a large organization.
    • Ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
    • Sound integrity.
