    Director, Strategy and Planning - 1 Position

    REF NO: KFC/HRA/DSP/2023

    Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, job holder will provide strategic leadership and direction in the implementation of the Strategy and Planning Function. An officer at this level will be responsible for coordination and management of all activities in the Directorate. The job holder will also be responsible for:

    • Coordinating strategic and planning, corporate research, monitoring and evaluation and quality & risk management of the Commission;
    • Coordinating the formulation of the corporate strategy, annual work plans and monitor implementation;
    • Coordinating corporate performance contract management;
    • Coordinating performance management systems that enable reporting and analysis of performance;
    • Formulating and coordinate implementation of business development policy;
    • Establishing and maintain linkages with strategic partners;
    • Carry out preparatory activities for implementation of the development projects;
    • Coordinating appraising of development proposals to the Commission;
    • Formulating and coordinating implementation of risk management policy;
    • Coordinating risk management and reporting in the Commission;
    • Coordinating corporate research and disseminating findings;
    • Formulating and coordinating implementation of monitoring and evaluation policy; and
    • Coordinating monitoring and evaluation of programmes in the Commission.

    The successful candidate must:

    • A minimum period of twelve (12) years relevant work experience, five (5) of which should have been in a senior management level;
    • Bachelors degree in any of the following fields: Economics, Economics and
    • Statistics, Statistics, Economics and Mathematics, Business Administration or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Masters degree in any of the following fields: Economics, Economics and
    • Statistics, Statistics, Economics and Mathematics, Business Administration or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Certificate in Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
    • Membership to a relevant professional body;
    • Proficiency in Computer applications;
    • Demonstrated managerial and administrative capability plus professional competence in work performance and results;
    • Exhibited a thorough understanding of national goals, policies, objectives and ability to relate them to Strategy and Business Development’s function; and
    • Met the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

    Manager, Corporate Communications - 1 Position

    KFC/HRA/MCC/2023
    Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the officer will be responsible for branding and development of communication and marketing strategy, policies and plans. The officer will also be responsible for:
    Overseeing development, implementation and review of communication strategies, programs and policies;

    • Publicizing the organization’s activities;
    • Editing and production of the organization’s newsletters, magazines and brochures;
    • Coordinating development and management of information, education and communication materials;
    • Managing Media Information Service;
    • Facilitating press conferences, official functions, visits, seminars, workshops, public relations exhibitions and other organizational social events;
    • Preparing speeches, briefs, press supplements, press statements, news releases and feature articles;
    • Collaborating with media houses for coverage of the organization’s events;
    • Managing matters of corporate interest and corporate social responsibility programs;
    • Ensuring a positive corporate image of the Commission;
    • Coordinating research and development on emerging issues related to corporate communication; and
    • Preparing corporate communication reports and briefs.

    The successful candidate must:

    • A minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant work experience, five (5) of which should have been in a management position;
    • Bachelors degree in any of the following fields: - Communication, Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Journalism, Mass Communications or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Masters degree in any of the following fields: - Communication, Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Journalism, Mass Communications or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Membership to a relevant professional body;
    • Certificate in Management course lasting not less four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
    • Proficiency in computer applications,
    • Demonstrated merit and ability in work performance and results; and
    • Met the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

    Manager, Information Communication Technology - 1 Position

    KFC/HRA/MICT/2023
    Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the officer will be responsible for Promoting the use of ICT in delivery of services towards realization of the Corporation’s mandate. The officer will also be responsible for:

    • Implementing Boards ICT policies, strategies and procedures;
    • Managing the Board’s ICT systems and Infrastructure;
    • Approving systems designs, Hardware/Software and program specifications in liaison with users;
    • Developing and ensure adherence to established ICT standards;
    • Maintaining overall systems documentation;
    • Supervising installation certification, repairs and maintenance of Information Communication Technology equipment and associated peripherals;
    • Administering passwords of critical systems and maintaining web based systems and database server’s configuration;
    • Drafting and managing ICT related service level agreements;
    • Providing seamless ICT services;
    • Managing ICT risk management and maintain Systems security and Databases;
    • Managing ICT Planning, Budgeting and Reporting;
    • Managing outsourced ICT services and service providers; and Mentoring staff.

    The successful candidate must:

    • Have a minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant work experience, five (5) of which should have been in a management position;
    • Have Bachelors degree in any of the following fields:- Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Have Masters degree in any of the following fields:- Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Membership to a relevant professional body where applicable;
    • Professional certification such as CCNP, CCNA, MCSE, MCSA, MCSD, N+, A+ OCA, CEH, CISSP, CISM, Linux+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) or their equivalent;
    • Certificate in Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
    • Have demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results; and
    • Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution

    Manager, Marketing - 1 Position

    KFC/HRA/MM/2023
    Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the officer will be responsible for marketing the Kenya Film Industry both locally and internationally. The officer will also be responsible for:

    • Initiating development, implementation and review of marketing plans, policies, strategies, guidelines, standards and procedures;
    • Coordinating development, promotion and marketing of the film industry in the local and international markets;
    • Promoting and marketing Kenya locally and internationally as a filming destination;
    • Managing the creation and planning of marketing campaigns for the film industry;
    • Formulating and implementing promotional and advertising strategies in liaison with distributors, film studios and filmmakers;
    • Liaising with local and foreign producers and distributors for marketing and promotion of film industry;
    • Coordinating market research on current trends in the film industry;
    • Promote preference and demand for local productions among Kenyan audiences
    • Coordinating organization of festivals and events to market and celebrate the Kenyan film industry; and
    • Coordinating monitoring of the digital media and editorial calendar to ensure content is timely, relevant and engaging.

    The successful candidate must:

    • A minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant work experience, five (5) of which should have been in a management position;
    • Have Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Marketing, Business Administration/Management, Finance, Commerce or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Have Masters degree in any of the following disciplines: Marketing, Business Administration/Management, Finance, Commerce Strategic Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Be a member of a professional body where applicable;
    • Have Certificate in Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
    • Be Proficient in computer applications;
    • Demonstrated a high degree of professional competence, managerial and administrative capability as reflected in work performance and results; and
    • Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
