    Executive Assistant to the CFO

    About the Role:

    Apollo is seeking a highly organized executive assistant to efficiently manage all administrative tasks related to the CFO’s office. The successful candidate will be the key liaison for the CFO’s office and will be responsible for managing the CFO’s schedules and communications. Expertise and experience in calendar and email management is required for this position. In addition, the successful candidate must uphold a high degree of integrity as you will be a key contact person in highly confidential matters.

    Executive Assistant Duties (60%)

    • Email management. The Executive Assistant will screen all incoming communication and prioritize appropriately. This includes ensuring all emails to the CFO are responded to in a timely manner. Where possible, the Executive Assistant will respond to emails independently. Otherwise, the Executive Assistant will ensure that the CFO responds to high priority emails swiftly.
    • Calendar management. The Executive Assistant will be tasked with scheduling meetings for the CFO and keeping track of these meetings to ensure attendance and create efficiencies where the opportunity arises.
    • Travel Arrangements. The Executive Assistant will coordinate the CFO’s travel needs and take charge of detailed travel plans. Book flights and accommodations within parameters for cost and convenience and ensure the CFO is fully prepared for travel.
    • Administrative Tasks. The Executive Assistant will assist the CFO with administrative tasks as they arise. This includes personal scheduling, note taking, setting up calls, and other duties as assigned.

    Finance Operations Duties (40%)

    • Information and Document Management. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for keeping the CFO’s and the Finance Team’s documents well-organized. In addition, the Executive Assistant will ensure that all relevant information is relayed to the team in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Editorial and Proofreading Duties: The Executive Assistant will be responsible for proofreading and checking the format of important documents and agreements. Further, the Executive Assistant will prepare and circulate formal documentation, corporate resolutions and legal documents for signing.
    • Project Management: The Executive Assistant will play a key role in various important Finance projects including ongoing process documentation and ownership of sanction list checks.

    You Have:

    • A Bachelor of Arts Degree, preferably in a business, legal or related field
    • 3-5 years working experience; at least 2 years of experience working as an executive assistant or as a paralegal are required. Experience working in a law firm is an advantage.
    • Outstanding attention to detail
    • A high degree of integrity and responsibility
    • Are able to work independently, communicate progress and evaluate competing priorities
    • Are an excellent, professional writer and have strong proofreading skills
    • Excellent communication skills and are fluent in English
    • Have mastered Word and PowerPoint
    • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are able to meet tight deadlines when necessary

    Head of Growth Marketing

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a Head of Growth Marketing to help us reach millions of small scale farmers across Africa! As the first senior leadership role within marketing, you will set overall growth strategy, whilst providing leadership and management to the marketing team. You will provide overall analytical frameworks to evaluate the performance of our marketing efforts.     • You’ll be responsible for planning and building a scalable and repeatable model for demand generation building Apollo's growth engine from the ground up
    • You’ll continually test and innovate to identify new growth opportunities and scale winning strategies
    • Continuously develop creative experiments to drive customer acquisition, customer engagement and retention.
    • Monitor and measure performance and incorporate effective approaches into Apollo’s marketing playbook.
    • Design and improve processes to gather qualitative and quantitative research to best understand Apollo’s customers.
    • Deeply understand and interface with Apollo’s customer base to design a marketing approach that resonates with Apollo's target audience - rural smallholder farmers.
    • Build and manage a growth team, overseeing field, brand , engagement & communications functions.
    • Work closely with the Sales team to ensure Marketing strategies are informed by and attuned to customer acquisition goals and enable achievement of sales targets.
