• Springboard Capital Ltd is seeking to hire a DSR Marketing Insurance Intern Reporting to Insurance Officer. The main role will be to support the business through marketing and sale of insurance products.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Carry out insurance marketing activities.
• Ensure effective customer service to insurance clients.
• Support in following up for insurance renewals.
• Placement of cover and obtaining insurance confirmations.
• Review of insurance cover confirmation documents for completeness and accuracy. 
• Giving accurate and complete quotation of insurance premiums.
• Ensure maintenance of customer information in both computerized and physical format.
• Ensuring timely payment of insurance premiums.
• Ensure company policies have been effectively communicated to clients.
• Advise clients on insurance related issues.
• Updating Insurance data to the insurance register 
• Preparing insurance memos for premium collection.
• Any other duties may be assigned.

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in Insurance or related field from a recognized institution
• At least 1- 2 years relevant working experience especially in insurance marketing.
• Proficiency in ICT with MS Office and internet ability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills    
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
• Alert to new opportunities both external and internal
• Highly effective communicator, both orally and in writing

JOB SUMMARY

• Springboard Capital Ltd is seeking to hire a Relationship Officer to be based at the Thika Branch, who will be reporting to the Branch Manager – Thika. 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

• Grow a healthy loan portfolio by developing an excellent and complete understanding of the company products and services
• Develop a base for long-term sources of clients through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face, cold calling on business owners/decision-makers, emails and networking to manage and grow the loan portfolio.
• Monitor, analyze and review customer retention data and use findings to improve prospect targeting and conversion to customers.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding applications for credit and credit transactions.
• Generate customer feedback on loan applications.
• Undertake business and home visits to validate applications.
• Undertake timely valuation renewals after contract expiry.
• Prepare and submit timely reports and information for decision making.

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Related Course from a recognized institution
• At least 3 years working experience in a credit-related role in the financial industry
• Professional Banking qualification will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in ICT with strong MS Office and internet ability
