    Factory Employees Supervisor

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain a pool of manpower Resources for all sheer logic staff who can be deployed to assist in running Operations (Their Location, wellness, availability and close contacts).
    • Accountable to Sheerlogic and representing the employer articulates all issues affecting the staff directly to Sheerlogic Management/Leadership.
    • Daily toolbox talks to Sheerlogic Staff.
    • Implement the Sheerlogic displinary procedures to all sheerlogic staff deployed in the Factory.
    • Being Key link person, briefs Sheerlogic staff in the company on all topical issues of interest as communicated from the Sheerlogic Site Manager.
    •  Maintain paperwork and records related to Sheerlogic activities on site including summaries of wage payments claims and dues.
    • Grievance handling in Liaison with the Supervisor on all issues involving Sheerlogic Staff within the company’s operations.
    • Responds to manpower deficit by calling in replacements from the approved pool.
    • Managing emergency issues e.g Hospitalization, Ambulance call ins, any security concerns etc affecting Sheerlogic staff.
    • Enforcing process controls requirements on the factory floor e.g Product inspection rotations, Palletization; accurate carton sealing spot-checks to hold Sheerlogic staff accountable.
    • Waste segregation and disposal of the designated areas of red tag areas.
    • Enforcing Compliance requirements affecting sheerlogic staff and maintaining records which provide proof compliance e.g Medical food handlers examinations.
    • Driving a positive health and safety culture among Sheerlogic staff in e.g by Managing PPEs.
    • Laundry and personnel Hygiene-Ensuring issuing of work wear materials sound Laundry management and overall staff hygiene.
    • Product pilferage by Sheerlogic staff-Provides training and administrative oversight in all areas where sheer logic staff is deployed to strictly discourage pilferage of products.
    • Manpower planning, allocation and communication to all Sheer logic staff including calling individual staff if necessary to communicate changes to plan.
    •  Canvassing for staff with Sheer logic Management on matters affecting staff welfare or other matters of staff interest.
    • Planning and supervision of Plant housekeeping deployment(to include continuous cleaning of  the factory, floor drainages  or any other areas as advised from time to time) etc.

    Qualifications

    • A diploma in Management with three years experience in a Production/Manufacturing environment or

    Parts Counter

    Key Duties / Responsibilities / Tasks

    • Parts and accessories sales order processing interface with walk-in retail customers, fleet customers and corporate customers through face-to-face meetings, on phone and emails, to understand and ensure their Parts and Accessories needs are being met.
    • Responsible for identifying correct parts from electronic parts catalogues and then processing sales orders.
    • Generating parts invoices and ensuring that customers pay for them.
    • Responding to customers’ requests on parts not available in stock, updating them on back-ordered parts tracker after customer agrees for parts to be back-ordered.
    • Advise customers on supersessions or alternative parts when identical replacements are not available.
    • Point out any sales special offers product that may complement the customer purchase.
    • Drive improvement in Customer Satisfaction Index by accurate and consistent data collection through customers CSI forms that will be provided from time to time.
    • Examine returned parts for defects, exchange and raise credit note requests as per the laid down process.
    • Maintain cleanliness of Parts and Accessories Department, keep inventory neatly stacked and orderly. 
    • Maintain updated customer account and database details, collect, capture and report lost sales daily through lost sale tracker.
    • Become familiar and efficient with all phases of the computer system required for P&A operations.
    • Raise Special Price Adjustment (SPA)form immediately in the system upon consultation with the supervisor in case of additional discount support offered to the customer.
    • Responsible for capturing requests for parts airfreight orders upon alignment with the customer on payments terms and lead time.
    • Training new staff on how to use electronic parts catalogue (EPC) and manual catalogues.
    • Provide and present to supervisor daily, weekly, and monthly status report on customer logs both called, quoted, served and work in progress.
    • Track closely all the quotations issued turning them to revenue to close on set individual monthly target.

    Customer Service

    • Provides superior customer service to both internal and external customers.
    • Assist in handling customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude making sure the problem is corrected to customer satisfaction.
    • Clearly communicate trade terms to customers through face-to-face meetings, on the phone and by email interactions and ensure compliance with said terms, as per the Isuzu East Africa policy.
    • Treat customers fairly and with honesty, and demonstrate our commitment to superior customer service and ethical business practices.

     Academic Qualifications

    • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing.
    • CIM will be an added advantage.
    • 2 years’ experience.

    Quality Analyst

    Key Responsibilities

    • This position works within the Quality Team and has the responsibility of ensuring that the quality of the product is constantly of high quality.
    • To provide Process Quality Assurance activities to production and troubleshooting within the Quality Department.
    • To provide quality technical support in problem-solving in-process and carry out training on analytical techniques at quality work stations for operators as well as monitor performance.
    • Ensuring that chemical reagents and equipment are well-calibrated. Ensure that processes are accurate and checking the performance of measuring systems.
    • Coordinate inter-lab analysis so that quality controls are done properly. Investigations where any anomaly is found.
    • Ensure technicians have access to reference standards and that they adhere to these standards in getting their results.
    • Support the implementation of ISO 22000, 14001, 9001, and 14001 requirements
    • Analysis and coordination of monthly samples. Ensuring that actions arising from samples are handled. To monitor process critical control points and data generation
    • Training the laboratory and Quality Control technicians on Quality.

    Qualifications:

    • A holder of BSc. in food science and technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry or microbiology

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 – 3 years relevant work experience.
    • Knowledge of Quality, Safety and Environmental Management systems.
    • Working Knowledge in Microbiology/ hygiene, Brewing and Packaging process.
