    Financial Services Trader – Nairobi, Kenya

    Key Responsibilities

    • Source for clients and execute buying and selling of securities on behalf of clients or the company.
    • Monitor daily market activities, conduct market research, and identify investment opportunities.
    • Analyze financial data and track the performance of securities, stocks, bonds, and other financial instruments.
    • Provide clients with information on financial products, market trends, and investment opportunities.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and investors while responding promptly to inquiries and resolving transaction-related issues.
    • Support client onboarding, account management processes, and maintain accurate client account records and investment portfolios.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions while maintaining proper transaction records and trading documentation.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transaction reports, market reports, and investment summaries for management and clients.
    • Ensure compliance with Capital Markets Authority (CMA) regulations and company policies while supporting audit and compliance reviews.
    • Maintain confidentiality of client and company financial information and stay updated on market developments, economic trends, and regulatory changes.

    Key Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field. Professional Qualifications
    • CPA, CISI, ACCA, or other relevant financial certification is an added advantage.
    • High level of integrity and professionalism.
    • Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.

    Branch Manager (Forex Bureau) – Mombasa, Kenya

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in the overall management of the bureau’s daily operations to ensure smooth business transactions.
    • Supervise and support the front-office team in handling forex transactions efficiently and accurately.
    • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Central Bank guidelines, AML policies, and KYC procedures.
    • Maintain accurate records and reports for audit and regulatory inspections.
    • Identify opportunities to expand the customer base and increase forex transaction volumes.
    • Assist in preparing financial reports, daily transaction summaries, and management reports.
    • Supervise, train, and motivate staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.

    Key Qualifications

    • At least 3-5 years of experience in a forex bureau, banking, or financial services sector.
    • Strong knowledge of foreign exchange operations, financial regulations, and risk management.
    • Familiarity with Central Bank regulations and AML/KYC compliance requirements.
    • Strong leadership and people management skills.

    Accounts Assistant (NGO) – Nairobi, Kenya

    Key Responsibilities

    • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including bank, cash, and credit entries, while ensuring all accounting records are up to date in the General Ledger.
    • Process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, expense claims, and manage accounts payable and receivable in accordance with approved financial procedures.
    • Perform monthly bank and cash reconciliations, resolve outstanding reconciling items, and support budget monitoring and expenditure tracking.
    • Prepare schedules, payment vouchers, and supporting documentation for internal and external audits while maintaining an organized and secure financial filing system.
    • Support compliance with statutory requirements, internal financial controls, procurement procedures, and organizational policies.
    • Provide financial and administrative support to programme teams and other departments as required to facilitate efficient financial operations.
    • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor in support of the Finance Department.

    Key Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field and CPA(K).
    • Past and recent experience in an accounting or finance role.
    • Experience working within an NGO, faith-based organization, donor-funded project, or similar environment is highly desirable.
    • Experience using an accounting ERP system is an added advantage.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
