    Financial Systems Assurance Specialist

    • With a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, and ideally a Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification, you bring extensive experience in financial systems assurance, preferably in a multinational setting. Your proficiency in analyzing complex financial data, coupled with excellent communication skills, makes you a key player in our team. You conduct regular audits and generate detailed reports for senior management, ensuring transparency and accuracy in our financial reporting processes.
    • This role is tasked with ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the aforementioned financial systems while holding ultimate accountability for the accuracy of Revenue and ECL figures. Your role extends to performing periodic revenue and expected credit loss (ECL) system validation checks. You take ultimate accountability for Revenue and ECL figures across the group, showcasing your strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements. In addition, your proficiency in using Alteryx for data analytics and automation gives you a significant edge, allowing you to streamline processes and deliver insights more efficiently.
    • Being both a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) places you at an even greater advantage, enabling you to bridge the gap between finance and information systems effectively. You are adept at working with numbers, and identifying key trends and possible anomalies, which is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our financial systems.

    Field Service Assistant

    About The Role

    • As a Field Service Assistant at M-KOPA, your main job is to ensure the Mobility Charging Station or Mobility Service Center runs smoothly and efficiently for our mobility customers.

    In this role, you will be expected to perform the following duties:

    • Charging station Management: Ensure that all the chargers at the charging stations are working as expected.
    • M-KOPA Mobility Shop Management: Ensure that all the customers at the shops are served well, giving them the best experience per our M-KOPA standards.
    • Housekeeping: Cleaning the charging station or Mobility shop and following the M-KOPA Environmental, Health, and Safety standards to ensure the charging station is neat and safe for customers.
    • Customer service: Log and resolve all customer issues and assist with inquiries.
    • Branding: Ensure that all marketing materials are visible and present themselves diligently as the face of M-KOPA.
    • Onboarding of new customers who are acquiring our new motorbikes through training, Customer Education, issuing of insurance, testing of the bikes at the shops, and the bike handover.
    • Opening the M-KOPA Charging station /Mobility Shop from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Saturday.

    Experience/ Skills & Competencies/ Licences & Certifications/ Education Required:

    • College diploma or degree in any field.
    • At least 1 year of experience in customer care. Front office management experience is an added advantage.
    • Basic technical knowledge.

    Senior Associate - Internal Audit

    Job Summary

    • The Senior Associate -Audit will join us in our Legal, Audit, Risk, and Compliance (LARC) team and will conduct periodical audit reviews of processes, systems, and procedures.
    • You will report to the Senior Internal Auditor.


    • You will help us implement the internal audit plan by conducting audits of processes to ensure compliance with our procedures.
    • You will obtain and review documents, reports, and other relevant data to gather evidence for audits. This will involve interviewing witnesses or team members to gather audit evidence.
    • You will analyze data, determine findings, and create recommendation actions.
    • You will prepare detailed and accurate audit reports outlining recommendations.
    • You will follow up with management on the implementation of corrective actions from the audit findings.
    • You will perform any other responsibilities related to the job responsibility as may be assigned.


    • Bachelor's degree in social sciences/ Law/ Finance/Accounting or related fields from a recognized university.
    • ACCA/CPA/CIA/CISA/certification or the equivalent qualification.
    • Participation in investigation training courses.
    • Minimum of 5 Years of experience conducting audits.
    • Experience working in an audit firm is an added advantage.


    • Able to be keen, attentive, and truthful.
    • Excellent drafting and reporting skills, including interviewing/good skills in communication.
    • Team player with good skills in interpersonal relations.
    • Advanced level of Microsoft Suites, including Excel (can perform complex functions) use and analysis.
    • Be able to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures and levels in a global organization.
    • Confidential when handling sensitive information
    • Knowledge of accounting systems.
    • Knowledge of professional standards.
