    Senior Advocate -Conveyancing, Real Estate & Banking

    Role Objective 

    • A leading commercial and real estate law firm in Nairobi is recruiting an experienced Senior Associate Advocate to lead its Conveyancing and Commercial Law team. This leadership role entails directing high-value transactions, team supervision, strategic legal advice, and driving department growth and client engagement.

    Core Duties and Responsibilities

    • Deliver expert legal advice and opinions on property, real estate, corporate, and commercial transactions while maintaining regular progress updates for corporate clients.
    • Manage end-to-end conveyancing and commercial matters, including due diligence, scrutinizing institutional lender instructions, and ensuring prompt execution and registration of legal instruments.
    • Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, security documentation, and transfer instruments for residential and commercial property developments.
    • Oversee legal filings and engagements with statutory bodies, including the Land Registries, Companies Registry, Survey of Kenya, National Land Commission, and local authorities.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, estate agents, land valuers, surveyors, and mortgage lenders.
    • Lead and mentor team members, monitor departmental performance, ensure timely service delivery, and drive operational efficiency, strategic planning, and risk management.
    • Drive business development initiatives, foster client retention, publish legal updates and industry insights, and collaborate across departments to improve client experience.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned.

    Job Specifications and Qualifications 

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university.
    • Advocate of the High Court of Kenya holding a current Practising Certificate.
    • Minimum of 5 years post-admission experience in a busy law firm setting.
    • Proven track record in Conveyancing, Commercial, Corporate, and Banking Law, including hands-on experience in property transactions, perfecting banking securities, and related legal procedures.
    • Management or leadership training is an added advantage

    Commercial & Conveyancing Advocate-Nairobi

    Role Objective

    • A leading medium sized law firm specializing in various practice areas seeks advocates to add to their team.  

    Core Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provide Legal opinion on matters relating to property & real estate.
    • Drafting Conveyancing documents and Legal documents.
    • Sending terms of engagement and estimates of fees and disbursements
    • Oversee handling of all client matters before the Lands Registry, Local Authorities and Survey of Kenya & National Lands Commission.
    • Liaising with clients and key stakeholders such as the mortgage lenders, estate agents, land valuers.
    • Provide legal opinion, advice on commercial and corporate transactions and matters relating to property & real estate.
    • Carrying out the negotiation, drafting and review of commercial contracts, legal documents and ensuring they are duly executed.
    • Offer legal advice to clients on the legal processes involved in purchasing & selling of property.
    • Conduct due diligence on conveyancing transactions, prepare sale agreements, completion documents and ensure proper registration of documents.

    Sound Technician

    This is an in person fulltime position.

    Core Duties and Responsibilities

    • Efficiently set up, position, secure, and cable all audio, video, and lighting systems.
    • Conduct rigorous pre-event testing to ensure all components function according to design specifications.
    • Load-out of equipment following performances.
    • Monitor and adjust volume levels and signal processing to optimize sound quality based on room acoustics and ambient noise.
    • Operate equipment for live broadcasts, concerts, and corporate events with a focus on seamless execution.
    • Capture high-quality speech and music, and convert analog recordings to digital formats for post-production editing.
    • Perform routine servicing to keep the inventory in peak condition.
    • Maintain accurate logs of recordings, equipment usage, and maintenance reports.
    • Manage the end-to-end deployment of LED display for live event environments.
    • Any other relevant duties as assigned.
