    Fashion Designer

    Job Purpose:

    Our client, is newly set up fashion retail brand committed to empowering women through stylish, functional, and culturally expressive clothing. Their focus is on modern business and casual wear infused with the vibrancy of African-inspired fabrics and aesthetics.

    They are looking for a multi-skilled professional who is a creative fashion designer, capable of translating ideas into garments that fit beautifully and reflect our brands Afro-contemporary identity.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conceptualize original designs for women's business, casual, and Afro-inspired wear
    • Translate fashion trends and cultural elements into wearable, brand-aligned pieces
    • Develop design sketches, digital flats, and visual presentations for internal reviews
    • Collaborate on seasonal themes, color stories, and textile directions
    • Draft and modify custom patterns for a range of women's silhouettes (two piece outfits, jumpsuits, maxi dresses, etc.)
    • Build prototypes and sample garments from scratch, ensuring precision and fit
    • Perform detailed garment fittings and make adjustments based on feedback
    • Execute clean, production-ready finishes with high craftsmanship.
    • Create detailed tech packs, including construction notes, measurements, and fabric specs
    • Liaise with suppliers and production partners to ensure alignment on design and quality
    • Oversee fabric and trim selection with a focus on both aesthetics and function
    • Assist in preparing garments for retail presentation or photoshoots

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • At least 3 years of experience as a fashion designer, preferably in a local fashion setting.
    • Proficiency in garment construction, cutting, stitching, and finishing for women's wear.
    • Strong design portfolio showcasing creativity and originality.
    • Ability to design and construct maxi dresses, two-piece outfits, jumpsuits, and other contemporary styles.
    • Ability to work with different types of fabrics and understand garment structure and sizing.
    • Excellent measurement and alteration skills with a keen eye for detail.
    • Ability to sketch or use basic design tools (manual or digital) to present clothing ideas.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing multiple orders and deadlines.

    Circulation Sales Executive

    Job Overview:

    Our client, a leading print media company, is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Circulation Sales Executive to drive newspaper sales, strengthen distribution networks and maximize circulation revenue. The ideal candidate will manage the entire sales and distribution chain from planning and forecasting to tracking sales, managing returns, and building strong relationships with distributors and retailers across the region.

    This role involves frequent travel across Kenya and Africa to support field operations, identify growth opportunities, and ensure efficient circulation processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Achieve circulation sales targets, revenue goals, and volume budgets.
    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, outlets, and subscription markets.
    • Drive field sales activities to boost copy sales and brand presence.
    • Coordinate daily circulation operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of newspapers.

    Head Tailor

    Job Purpose:

    Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head Tailor to join their growing fashion team. The ideal candidate will lead the tailoring function and will be responsible for cutting, sewing, repairing, and altering garments while ensuring exceptional craftsmanship, neat finishing, and timely delivery. The Head Tailor will also play a key role in quality control, fabric handling, team coordination (where applicable), and customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Cut and sew fabrics accurately according to provided designs, patterns, and measurements.
    • Construct garments from scratch, ensuring high-quality workmanship and clean finishing.

    • Maintain and operate sewing machines and tailoring tools, ensuring good working condition.

    • Provide expert insights on stitching techniques, garment structure, and fit enhancements.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Head Tailor or Senior Tailor.
    • Strong expertise in cutting, stitching, repairing, and finishing garments to a professional standard.

    • Skilled in working with different fabric types, including delicate and stretch fabrics.
