    Assistant Executive Housekeeper

    Job Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise daily housekeeping operations to ensure exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards across guest rooms and public areas.
    • Assign duties to housekeeping staff, prepare room assignment sheets, and monitor staff productivity and performance.
    • Inspect guest rooms, corridors, meeting rooms, and public areas to ensure compliance with 5-star hotel standards.
    • Coordinate closely with Front Office and other departments to ensure smooth room status updates and guest service delivery.
    • Oversee VIP room preparations, turndown services, and special guest requirements with attention to detail.
    • Plan and schedule deep cleaning programs, carpet shampooing, upholstery care, window cleaning, and other periodic maintenance activities.
    • Ensure meeting rooms and function spaces are properly cleaned and set up according to event requirements.
    • Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen inventory, guest amenities, and par stock levels to ensure operational efficiency.
    • Maintain effective key control procedures and ensure the security of guest rooms and hotel property.
    • Handle guest complaints professionally and implement prompt service recovery measures to enhance guest satisfaction.
    • Support the Executive Housekeeper in staff training, coaching, discipline, and enforcement of hotel policies and SOPs.
    • Review housekeeping reports, guest feedback, and PMS updates to maintain service quality and operational accuracy.
    • Coordinate with external service providers such as laundry, pest control, and maintenance vendors to ensure quality standards are met.
    • Assist in preparing and controlling the departmental budget while monitoring housekeeping expenses and resource utilization.
    • Ensure proper maintenance of housekeeping equipment and submit repair or replacement requests when necessary. 

    Other responsibilities

    • Co-ordinate with front office and sending room discrepancy lists.
    • Select, staff, recruit, hire, and train qualified housekeeping candidates.
    • Attends training seminars to perfect housekeeping techniques and procedures, and enhance supervisory skills.
    • Records data concerning work assignments, personnel actions, and time cards, and prepares periodic reports.  May prepare reports concerning room occupancy, payroll expenses, and department expenses.
    • Attends periodic staff meetings with other department heads to discuss company policies and patrons’ complaints, and to make recommendations to improve service and  ensure more efficient operation.
    • Orient and familiarize new personnel with hotel facilities and operating hours.
    • Control all expenditures relating to Housekeeping, including labour, guest room supplies, and all cleaning supplies and equipment.
    • Oversee any guest communications from housekeeping.

    Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager – Dining & Outlets is responsible for supporting the daily operations of all dining venues and food & beverage outlets to ensure exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, revenue growth, and compliance with company standards. The role oversees, restaurant managers ,outlet supervisors and service teams, coordinates service delivery, maintains quality standards, and assists in achieving financial and operational targets.

    Key Responsibilities

    Operational Management

    • Supervise day-to-day operations of restaurants, bars, lounges, cafés, room service, and other dining outlets.
    • Ensure all outlets operate efficiently and maintain high service standards.
    • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to guest concerns and feedback.
    • Conduct regular inspections of dining areas, service stations, and outlet facilities.
    • Coordinate outlet opening and closing procedures.

    Staff Supervision & Leadership

    • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, training, and scheduling food & beverage staff.
    • Supervise outlet supervisors, captains, hosts, servers, bartenders, and support staff.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to improve staff productivity and service quality.
    • Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a positive working environment.
    • Ensure compliance with grooming, uniform, and attendance standards.

    Guest Service Excellence

    • Maintain exceptional guest experience standards across all dining outlets.
    • Build positive guest relationships and handle VIP or special service requirements.
    • Ensure prompt and courteous service delivery at all times.
    • Monitor service flow and table turnover efficiency.

    Financial & Inventory Control

    • Support budget preparation and cost-control initiatives.
    • Monitor daily sales performance and outlet revenues.
    • Assist in managing labor costs, food costs, and beverage costs.
    • Oversee inventory control, stock rotation, and requisition processes.
    • Minimize wastage, breakages, and pilferage.

    Event & Service Coordination

    • Coordinate dining operations for conferences, banquets, special events, and promotions.
    • Collaborate with kitchen, purchasing, housekeeping, and front office teams to ensure smooth operations.
    • Assist in developing outlet promotions and guest engagement activities.

    Reporting & Administration

    • Prepare operational reports, shift summaries, and performance updates.
    • Monitor outlet KPIs and recommend operational improvements.
    • Maintain accurate records of staffing, inventory, incidents, and guest feedback.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Food & Beverage Management, or related field.
    • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in food & beverage operations, with at least 1–2 years in a managerial role.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Good understanding of restaurant operations, POS systems, and inventory management.
    • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
