Human Resources Legal Manager at Fertility Point

Role Description

• The Human Resources Legal Manager will oversee HR policies, employee relations, and employment-law compliance to ensure the organization operates in line with Kenyan labor laws and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Kenyan labor and employment laws.
• Advise management on HR-related legal and employee matters.
• Manage disciplinary, grievance, and employee relations processes.
• Ensure legally compliant recruitment, onboarding, and employment documentation.
• Conduct HR compliance audits and maintain required documentation.
• Deliver training on HR policies, employment law, and compliance.
• Liaise with external legal counsel when required.
• Prepare HR compliance reports and regulatory documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• 8–10 years of experience in HR, HR Legal, or a related management role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Kenyan Labor and Employment Law and HR compliance.
• Proven experience in employee relations, disciplinary and grievance management.
• Strong HR policy development and implementation experience.
• Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
• High level of confidentiality, attention to detail, and professionalism.
• HR or legal professional certification is an added advantage.
