    Job Description

    Accountability: Filing & Scanning of Securities and Record Management

    Outputs:

    • Job holder is responsible for scanning & custody of security documents in the course of the perfection process and custody of the same after perfection.
    • Job holder is responsible for orderly filing of security documents in the strong room and retrieval  of the  security documents as dictated by the business.
    • Job holder is responsible for marking BIN locations of dossiers at the Basement. 
    • Job holder is responsible for Record Management within the Department
    • Any other roles that will be assigned to the Job Holder

    Accountability: Helpdesk & Query Resolution

    Outputs:

    • Job holder is responsible for handling queries assigned to Custody from the DSC Helpdesk.

    Accountability: Manage risk and control effectively by applying applicable risk frameworks and embedding a positive risk culture.

    Outputs:

    • Understand own role in the end to end processes in which I play a part, including applicable risks and controls.
    • Adhere to ABSA s’ policies and procedures applicable to own role, demonstrating sound judgment and responsible risk management.
    • Report all risk events / incidents / issues using the defined process for business area and help to understand why these happened and how to prevent them in future.
    • Proactively look for ways to improve the control environment by considering what could go wrong in the processes I operate and how errors could be prevented.

    Education and Experience Required:

    • Relevant Bachelors - degree

    Experience

    • Experience in Record Keeping/Management
    • Experience in analysis, data gathering, data collation and data interpretation

    Knowledge & Skills Required:

    DSC Analyst - Maintenance

    Job Summary

    To coordinate, plan & deliver day-to-day team tasks & activities in order to execute operational services accurately & timeously in support of org. policy compliance through the execution of predefined objectives as per agreed SOPs.

    Job Description

    Accountability: Vetting /processing of loan documentation/maintenance items and Record Management

    Outputs:

    • Job holder is responsible for daily  processing of  maintenance items  provided by the business end to end.
    • Job holder is responsible for daily processing  documentation for unsecured loans /ABF loans end to end  including vetting of documentation submitted and capturing on the relevant system .
    • Job holder is responsible for daily scanning of  finalized loan  documentation to facilitate disbursement of loans.   
    • Job holder is responsible for daily submission of  security documents in for filing in the strong room.
    • Job holder is responsible for record management  of maintenance items within the Department
    • Any other roles that will be assigned to the Job Holder

    • Job holder is responsible for handling queries assigned to Maintenance from the Business /DSC Helpdesk .
