The HIV Testing and Counselling officers will ensure quality HTS services and linkage to high impact HIV prevention services to the DREAM girls and their male sexual partners.
Key Responsibilities
Key roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Ensure quality HIV Testing Services (HTS) are provided as per the National Testing Algorithm in supported safe spaces

Reporting to the DREAMS Technical Lead, the DREAMS Technical Officer (SAB/EBI) will provide technical leadership and oversight for the implementation of Social Asset Building (SAB) and Evidence-Based behavioural interventions (EBIs) to reduce adolescent girls and young persons’ (AGYWs) vulnerability to HIV through empowering them and their families. Reporting to the Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, the DREAMS SI Officer will be responsible for data management and coordination of all DREAMS SI field-related activities and provide constant feedback to both the technical and program teams including health care workers in supported wards and health facilities. He/she will also ensure DREAMS data quality through site visits for mentorship and routine data quality audits. He/she will also establish and support a strong data demand and information use for DREAMS and ensure timely and accurate reporting to the Donor, MOH and the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to staff through mentorship in CHS-supported Wards on DREAMS data collection, collation, analysis and reporting of health information to relevant stakeholders using national and donor reporting systems.
