    Manager, Products & Projects (Head Office)

    Job Summary:

    To translate new ideas and opportunities into new products and to improve existing products. This role involves market research, development of product papers, implementation of approved products, coordinating user tests and working with marketing team to launch products and services. In addition, it entails project management, product maintenance, product performance monitoring and vendor coordination. The purpose is to create Bank’s products that are suitable to evolving customer needs and ultimately ensuring return on investment i.e. profitability.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Conceptualizing and crystalizing new product ideas into concrete business cases and proposals. The approved businesses cases culminate into new products;
    • Planning and implementing all elements of new products/up-grading and rolling them out in conjunction with Manager Marketing;
    • Coordinating with various support services, as required, for product features implementation and user acceptance testing;
    • Customer, competitor and market monitoring to identify new/upgraded product needs and opportunities(environment scanning and comparison);
    • Negotiating with and closing deals with third party vendors, service providers and other external dependencies as required for the product;
    • MIS generation and analysis by preparing manuals and procedures, preparing product approval papers and arranging sign-offs; and
    • Product maintenance for certain products which involves trouble shooting for technical hitches and breakdowns including coordination with external vendors as necessary

    Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree in Marketing, Strategic Management or its equivalent from a recognized institution will be an added advantage; and
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Strategic Management, Marketing or its equivalent from a recognized institution
    • Chartered Institute of Marketing diploma or its equivalent; and
    • Member of Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) or equivalent professional body.
    • At least 5 years relevant experience in a similar role.
    • Ability to write complex letters, comprehensive reports and to perform complex calculations

    Business Banker

    Job Summary

    The role is responsible for contribution tthe growth of the Bank’s asset and liabilities books through achievement of allocated targets, the management of a portfoliof key corporate accounts and for assisting the Head of Business with administration, market intelligence & strategy execution in Business Department.

    Key responsibilities

    • Develop cost effective, long term asset business with companies and organizations of repute in order tensure the Bank’s maximum profitability;
    • Act as key consultant tclient’s senior management, providing them with the evaluation and implementation of financing strategies or structures.
    • Maintaining adequate relationship contact with assigned customers tensure their expectations are managed and that they have appropriate understanding of FCB.
    • Anticipate and be continually sensitive tthe shifting customer expectations and initiate appropriate measures tensure that FCB stays ahead of competitors in rendering customer service;
    • In liaison with the branch managers handle transactions for Corporate customers on a day tday basis always ensuring the bank is not unduly exposed
    • Continually Identify and exploit cross selling opportunities that embed the bank and its products with the customers’ needs.
    • Identify and develop a dynamic target pipeline and market for new profitable and/or status customers from the identified target sectors;
    • Ensure compliance tKnow Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money Laundering (AML) requirements in all dealings with existing and potential customers.

    • Passion for selling and client relationship must be evident.
    • Experience in banking industry or a financial institution.
    • A proven record of successfully managing customer relations and growing a portfoliof financing and asset clients.

    Relationship Manager, Portfolio Management

    Job Summary:

    This role is responsible for contribution tthe growth of the Bank’s asset and liabilities books through the management of a portfoliof all assigned accounts and for assisting the Business team at the branch with market intelligence & referrals and mining of portfolitgeneral leads and increase wallet share.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Ensure the overall portfoliperformance and asset quality remains strong and independently assess, and, jointly with SME Relationship Managers, develop strategies and actions tresolve issues that could increase risk and/or create loss for the Bank.
    • Analyze financial requirements of customer and match with the bank’s product offerings
    • Develop and maintain strong working relations with all existing clients at key levels toptimize the utilization of approved facilities
    • Continually Identify and exploit cross selling opportunities that embed the bank and its products with the customers’ needs Develop key triggers for portfolitgenerate leads e.g., declining balances tensure retention of potentially unhappy customers
    • Manage business risk associated with SME businesses e.g., Portfoliat risk

    Qualifications:
