    Fleet Officer

    The Transport Manager will oversee the efficient and safe operation of Hewatele’s fleet of 20 trucks used in the distribution of medical oxygen and other gases. This role requires strong logistics planning, leadership, and a commitment to health and safety compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage daily operations of the transport department, including driver scheduling and route planning.
    • Monitor fleet performance, fuel usage, and delivery timelines.
    • Ensure all vehicles are maintained, licensed, and compliant with NTSA and safety regulations.
    • Implement health and safety protocols for drivers and transport operations.
    • Liaise with internal teams and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve logistics issues.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport Management or related field.
    • Certification in Occupational Health and Safety or Fleet Safety Management.
    • At least 3 years of practical experience in fleet and transport management.

    As the first point of contact at Hewatele’s Tatu City facility, the Front Desk Officer will represent the company to high-caliber clients, guests, and partners. This role requires professionalism, discretion, and excellent communication skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Welcome and direct visitors with courtesy and professionalism.
    • Manage incoming calls, emails, and visitor logs.
    • Coordinate meeting rooms, appointments, and office supplies.
    • Support administrative tasks and internal communication.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, or related field.
    • At least 3 years of experience in a front office or customer service role.

    HR & Admin Officer

    The HR & Admin Officer will manage human resource functions and administrative operations at Hewatele’s Tatu City site. This role supports employee engagement, compliance, and efficient office management, with a strong emphasis on records management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle documentation.
    • Coordinate training, performance reviews, and employee engagement activities.
    • Handle payroll, benefits, and statutory compliance.
    • Maintain accurate and secure employee records and administrative files.
    • Support general office operations and internal communication.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Membership with IHRM and knowledge of Kenyan labor laws.
    • At least 3 years of practical experience in HR and administration.

    Sheq Quality Control Officer

    The SHEQ & Quality Control Officer will ensure that Hewatele’s operations at the Tatu City LOX production sitecmeet the highest standards of safety, health, environment, and quality. This role is critical in maintaining compliance, preventing risks, and guaranteeing product integrity.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Implement and monitor SHEQ policies and procedures.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with ISO and regulatory standards.
    • Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
    • Oversee product quality testing and documentation.
    • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the site.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
    • At least 3 years of practical experience in SHEQ roles within manufacturing or industrial environments.
    • Certification in ISO standards, Occupational Health & Safety, or Quality Management is an added advantage.
