    Marketing and student Recruitment Officer

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Undertake a range of activities to promote ILU to a variety of audiences including secondary school leavers, parents, postgraduate students and corporates.
    • Develop marketing strategies for Undergraduate and Post-graduate programs as well as short courses offered to build ILU’s profile and brand.
    • Create social media campaigns, increase website traffic and identify potential sponsorship opportunities for needy students.
    • Build positive relationships with key contact groups and attend open events/ exhibitions and career fairs representing ILU as part of the student recruitment process.
    • Prepare and deliver a variety of presentations to secondary schools, corporates and other relevant institutions to showcase the programs and short courses available at ILU.
    • Follow up on all potential leads and give feedback on application statuses via phone or email.
    • Ensure all relevant emails or phone calls regarding applications from students are dealt with efficiently and effectively as per ILU admission process.
    • Promote a Christian and corporate culture upholding ILU Core Values and Statement of Faith and ILU Statement of Confidentiality.
    • Any additional marketing tasks or other duties as delegated by management.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Degree in Business Administration/ Sales and Marketing or other business related field.
    • At least 1 year experience in a similar position with a track record of achieving set targets.
    • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication.
    • Excellent presentation, analytical and organization skills.
    • Be a good team player.

    IT support intern

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software and hardware.
    • Install, modify and repair computer hardware and software.
    • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
    • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN) and other systems.
    • Install computer peripherals for users.
    • Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
    • Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.
    • Follow up with staff to ensure all technical issues has been resolved.
    • Promote a Christian and corporate culture upholding ILU Core Values and Statement of Faith and ILU Statement of Confidentiality.
    • Any additional IT related tasks or other duties as delegated by management.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • BA/BSc. degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
    • Practical understanding of common TCP/IP protocols and general networking principles (TCP/UDP/ICMP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, subnetting, routing, etc.).
    • Fundamental understanding of wireless (Wi-Fi) and wireline (Fiber, DSL) technologies.
    • Practical understanding of common web-based technologies, REST, JavaScript, Open source and Webhosting platforms.
    • Strong verbal and written communication.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Be a good team player.

    ICT Officer

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Set up a web-based register system to enable register operations remotely. These are; Student enrolment; Grading and reporting; and Transcript issuance.
    • Set up a functional and interactive website with online student application; tracking of application status; updated content based on content provided in 3 months; linking of the website to ILUs social media accounts; train IT / communications officer on updating content on the website.
    • Set up an intranet accessible to ILU students and lecturers signed up using their ILU emails.
    • Train lecturers and staff on use of the intranet and content owners on how to update the platform.
    • Support in technology strategy formulation and execution of online learning / and digitization of educational content and experiences.
    • Provide support/evaluations for ERP and collaboration/ productivity cloud platform (Office 365 / G-Suite).
    • Promote a Christian and corporate culture upholding ILU Core Values and Statement of Faith and ILU Statement of Confidentiality.
    • Any additional ICT related tasks or other duties as delegated by management.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • BA/BSc. degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
    • Conversant with and experienced in utilization of e-learning.
    • Practical understanding of common TCP/IP protocols and general networking principles (TCP/UDP/ICMP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, subnetting, routing, etc.).
    • Practical understanding of common web-based technologies and Webhosting platforms.
    • Strong verbal and written communication.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Be a good team player.
