For appointment into this position, applicants should have the following:
Person Profile.
- Bachelor of Commerce or a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or similar major
- Demonstrate capacity for complex numerous calculations of item cost.
- At least 5 years’ of experience as an F & B Cost Controller in a fast paced restaurant or in any 3 star hospitality institution.
- Have very high sense of details and attention to market price fluctuation.
- Must have used a hospitality POS system before.
- Demonstrate understanding of menu planning, food cost and pricing techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.
- Above 30 years of age.
Job Profile.
Reporting to the Food and Beverage Supervisor; s/he shall be responsible for the following key areas:
- Able to effectively control the Food & Beverage cost.
- Control the Food and Beverage outlets in terms of wastage, pilferage and efficiency.
- Prepare variance analysis for food & beverage and communicating with relevant parties.
- Daily food cost reports for all food and beverage outlets and distributing to management.
- Preparation of purchase orders in liaison with the procurement clerks.
- To participate in food and beverages receiving, storing and issuing from food and beverage stores.
- Check and ensure that no material is issued out from the store without requisition or approval from the respective department head.
- Note delivery prices of all products and ensure selling prices are in line with delivery cost of goods.
- Advise the Chef and food and beverages supervisor on the trends of food cost and profitability margins on a daily basis.
- Any other tasks as and when required by the management.
REMUNERATION AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

- A minimum of either a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- At Least CPA-1
- A minimum of 2 years’ working experience in the Accounting or Finance Field
- Knowledge and experience in accounts payable/receivables/reconciliation and tax returns
- Good time management, planning, and organizing skills
- Knowledgeable in Accounting Software
- Ability to work under minimum supervision
- Honesty and integrity
Role Responsibilities
- Keeping financial records of incoming and outgoing payments, producing and analysing figures.
- Prepare and submit statutory deductions to the specific authorities.
- Responsible for filing monthly VAT and Statutory deductions such as PAYE, NSSF, and NHIF.
- Responsible for Data entry into the financial software
- Preparing and handling payments due to suppliers
- Raising purchase orders and processing payments
- Issuing and checking invoices, receipts and debit/credit notes
- Process monthly/weekly accounting reports

- At least 3 years of experience providing information communications technology (ICT) and administrative support.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in fast-paced environment

Role Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and advice as required across all the enterprises income generating outlets and offices.
- Rectify problems relating to the malfunction of ICT equipment including software
- Supports implementation of ICT management systems and strategies, focusing on achievement of results
- Integrate security, physical control solutions for all confidential data and systems
- Respond to ICT Support requests in a timely fashion to ensure minimum disruption to service delivery.
- Install and upgrade both systems and application software as required adhering to all licensing regulations.
- Perform preventive maintenance duties on items of ICT hardware and equipment.
- Provision of administrative support.
