• Determine the internal audit scope for assigned areas and develop risk-based audit plans aligned with the Bank's strategy, risk profile and Internal Audit methodology.
• Execute risk-based audits and provide independent assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal controls, including compliance with applicable policies, regulatory requirements and legislation.
• Perform independent reviews of lending models across the Bank, assessing model design and methodology, underlying assumptions, data, implementation, validation, performance monitoring and continued fitness for intended use.
• Assess the effectiveness of model risk governance, including model identification and inventory, ownership, development, independent validation, approval, implementation, change management, performance monitoring and management of model limitations.
• Apply appropriate quantitative and data science techniques to independently test and challenge models, including, where applicable, back-testing, benchmarking, sensitivity analysis, stability testing, calibration and model performance assessment.
• Apply advanced data analytics to audit engagements to interrogate large and complex datasets, identify anomalies and emerging risk patterns, assess control effectiveness and enhance audit coverage.
• Assess the adequacy of data used in models and key business processes, including data quality, completeness, accuracy, lineage and relevant data controls.
• Develop and communicate clear, evidence-based audit findings and recommendations, translating complex modelling and data-related matters into understandable risk and control implications for relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain effective stakeholder relationships and provide appropriate technical input and advisory support on risk management, internal controls, governance, model risk and data-related matters while safeguarding Internal Audit's independence.
• Stay abreast of emerging developments in banking, regulation, model risk, data science, artificial intelligence and internal audit, and contribute to the enhancement of Internal Audit's model-review and data-analytics capability.

JOB PURPOSE

• Reporting to Senior Manager Solutions Architecture, the job holder will be responsible for developing solution designs specifications, reviews of solution designs and completed implementations, recommendations and analysis of their impact on the overall business goals and outcomes. The holder of this position leverages their profound knowledge of available technologies to recommend the best solution according to the documented requirements and existing environment. The key deliverable of this role is to provide a set of technological solutions and the strategy of their implementation while minimizing technical debt.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyzing enterprise specifics - Facilitate the identification and analysis of the Bank’s business drivers to deliver enterprise business, information, technical and solution architecture requirements.
• Solution Design – End-to-end solution & architecture design for assigned projects and initiatives and ensuring solution design alignment between stakeholders before implementation.
• Analyzing and documenting requirements - Elicit business requirements using interviews, analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. 
• Setting the collaboration framework- Liaise with the business subject matter experts in the development of clear roadmaps of business solutions.
• Analyzing the technology environment - Provide an analysis to determine best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement vis a vis information technology systems enhancement.
• Controlling solution development - Participate in solution developments to ensure technical (as documented in solution designs) and business requirements are adhered to. Any valid deviations should be documented exceptions for tracking and remediation of technical debt. 
• Supporting project management- Provide architectural oversight of projects and ensure that requirements are in alignment with business strategies and business architecture roadmap/framework.
• Leverage’s business capabilities as a platform for illustrating the link between business needs with decisions to their technology, solution, business and information architecture efforts
• Translate strategic initiatives into delivery-focused change initiatives, while translating business processes and issues into effective conceptual and logical models.
• Build and maintain repository for deliverables, methodologies, and business development documents
• Ability to independently facilitate discussions with groups of diverse stakeholders and manage the flow of conversation while driving to meet business objectives.
• Ability to independently manage conflict among diverse cross portfolio stakeholders related to competing interests and requirements. Able to help stakeholders objectively examine real needs versus wants and ways to collaborate to achieve win/win resolutions.

JOB PURPOSE

• The holder of this role will be responsible of developing and aligning information architecture strategy with business processes and goals and applying best practices in areas such as data definitions and stewardship, information lifecycle management, big data, integrated data security, and unified collaboration. He/She will ensure different stakeholders have the timely, reliable and secure information they need to react quickly to market changes and manage the business effectively 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide information strategy and architecture for the Bank that meets business and enterprise needs, and to deliver design blueprints/artefacts that enable that architecture to be built and operated, as well as appropriately validated roadmaps. 
• Design and guide the building of consistent cross functional solutions that are robust in answering deliverables that build enterprise data solutions regardless of technology or data platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the FMCG Business Segment Portfolio strategy in line with the overall KCB Group Strategy. 
• Deliver on Annual Business Growth Targets: Revenue, Fees and Commissions, Balance sheet and Customer number growth.
• Execute client deals in line with developed strategic client plans. 
• Executes sales growth tactics and targets in collaboration with business partners
• Champion the delivery of consistent, seamless and trusted customer service to ensure customer retention and loyalty.
• Personally maintain and deepen client relationships at the appropriate level and foster long-term client interest.

Education and Experience

• University Degree from a recognized institution.

• 5 years Credit and Financial Analysis 
• 5 years Client Portfolio Management 
• Knowledge of Trade and Transaction Banking products 
• Deep understanding of FMCG/ Manufacturing/Agribusiness value chains
