KSPCA is the only animal welfare charity in Kenya protecting animals from neglect and abuse. We rely on the help of volunteers, voluntary fundraising and donations to carry out our important work, so your support is invaluable to us!
Nairobi-based; full-time, fixed-term contract
Our team at KSPCA is looking for a dedicated and thoughtful Rehoming Officer to help our rescued animals find safe, loving, and suitable forever homes. In this role, you'll play a key part in the adoption journey-supporting potential adopters, assessing suitability, and ensuring that every match is made with the animal's long-term well-being in mind.
You'll engage with members of the public daily, guiding them through the adoption process, asking the right questions, and providing honest, practical advice. You'll work closely with our animal care and veterinary teams to understand each animal's needs, personality, and history, helping to create the best possible matches. You'll also follow up on adoptions where needed, ensuring animals continue to thrive in their new homes.
We're looking for someone who is empathetic, confident, and able to balance compassion with sound judgment. You should be comfortable making decisions, including difficult ones, always putting the animal first. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple cases and interactions simultaneously. Experience in animal welfare, customer service, or community engagement is an added advantage, but a genuine love for animals, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are essential.
If you're passionate about giving animals a second chance and helping create meaningful, lasting bonds between people and pets, we'd love to hear from you. Come be part of KSPCA Nairobi.
At KSPCA, we value integrity, professionalism, and respect for both people and animals. We're looking for someone who shares these values and is committed to supporting our mission to protect and care for animals across Kenya.
Nairobi-based; full-time, fixed-term contract
Our team at KSPCA is looking for a warm, organised, and people-focused Front of House Manager to lead our visitor experience at the Nairobi shelter. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our day-to-day operations-welcoming guests, coordinating visits and adoptions, and ensuring that everyone who walks through our doors feels informed, supported, and inspired by our work.
You'll oversee front-of-house activities, manage a small team, and ensure that our reception and visitor areas run smoothly and reflect the professionalism and compassion at the core of KSPCA. From handling inquiries and resolving concerns to guiding visitors on safe interactions with animals, you'll play a key role in connecting people to our mission. We're looking for someone who is approachable, dependable, and confident in managing both people and processes. You should have strong communication skills, a natural ability to stay organised, and a calm, solution-oriented approach—especially in a dynamic environment. Experience in a customer-facing role is important, and being comfortable around animals is essential.
If you enjoy creating positive experiences, leading with empathy, and being part of a purpose-driven team, this could be the perfect role for you. Join us at KSPCA Nairobi and help create a welcoming space where compassion for animals and people comes together every day.
At KSPCA, we value integrity, professionalism, and respect for both people and animals. We're looking for someone who shares these values and is committed to supporting our mission to protect and care for animals across Kenya.
