    Assistant Sales Representative

    Position Summary

    • Reporting to the Territory Sales Manager through the Sales Representative, the Assistant Sales Representative will support the sales team in building sales pipelines, monitoring sales performance, coordinating with distributors and internal teams, expanding market share, and ensuring customers receive quality service. The role requires a collaborative, field-oriented, and target-driven individual with strong selling, negotiation, reporting, and customer relationship skills.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    Sales Support & Customer Coordination

    • Coordinate, monitor, and follow up on day-to-day sales activities between the company and customers, including order follow-ups, delivery confirmations, and payment follow-ups to ensure sales proceeds are collected on time.

    Market Intelligence & Competitor Monitoring

    • Carry out market surveys on emerging trends, competitor activities, pricing, and product quality, and submit timely reports to management for decision-making.

    Customer Relationship Management

    • Maintain close contact with customers, handle complaints, address issues relating to product quality, service delivery, expiries, and staff conduct, while sustaining strong customer loyalty and business continuity.

    Route Management & Sales Performance

    • Support the Sales Representative in monitoring distributor performance, reviewing routes, improving route efficiency, and capturing route data including customer details, average sales, kilometres covered, delivery times, collection times, and route challenges.

    Pricing, Merchandising & Product Standards

    • Conduct regular market checks to ensure products are sold at recommended prices, educate customers on pricing requirements, and support merchandising standards and display building.

    Delivery & Crew Compliance

    • Support spot-checks on delivery vehicles to ensure adherence to route rules, timings, hygiene standards, crew conduct, and compliance with company requirements.

    Reporting & Data Capture

    • Prepare and submit daily route visit reports, monthly sales and mileage reports, customer data, customer complaints reports, and other sales performance reports required for timely decision-making.

    Business Growth Support

    • Support the Sales Representative in commissioning new routes, recruiting new customers, identifying new sales channels, and building an effective sales crew team within the assigned territory.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or a relevant field.
    • Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in a similar role within the FMCG category.
    • Professional qualification in a related field is an added advantage.
    • Computer literacy with ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
    • Valid driving license, Class BCE, is required.

    Automobile Mechanic

    Position Summary

    • The Automobile Mechanic will be responsible for carrying out vehicle diagnostics, preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, accident repairs, reconditioning, breakdown rescue operations, and general workshop support. The role requires strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems, safe use of tools and equipment, and commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    Vehicle Inspection, Diagnosis & Repair

    • Inspect vehicles, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, and carry out repairs using appropriate tools, procedures, and diagnostic equipment.

    Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

    • Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire checks, suspension repairs, brake system repairs, fuel system repairs, and other preventive services to reduce breakdowns and improve vehicle reliability.

    Breakdown Rescue & On-Site Repairs

    • Respond to vehicle breakdowns, conduct accurate diagnostics, and provide timely on-site repairs where applicable.

    Accident Repairs & Reconditioning

    • Carry out accident repair assessments, chassis straightening, fender repairs, paintwork support, engine overhaul, gearbox overhaul, differential repairs, and replacement of worn-out parts.

    Pre-Delivery Inspection

    • Conduct PDI on new vehicles to ensure they meet required safety, quality, and operational standards before handover.

    Workshop Safety & Housekeeping

    • Observe all safety precautions, use PPE correctly, follow safe work methods, maintain clean work areas, and ensure tools and workshop equipment are used properly.

    Quality Control & Compliance

    • Follow preventive maintenance plans, conduct vehicle condition checks, identify hidden or developing faults, and ensure repair work meets required quality standards.

    Reporting & Teamwork

    • Work closely with supervisors, colleagues, suppliers, and other stakeholders to complete assigned tasks efficiently and support workshop operations.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Preferably Artisan Grade 1 or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Minimum 5 years’ proven experience as an Auto Mechanic.
    • Valid driving license is required.
    • Excellent knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle components.
    • Ability to handle various workshop tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems.
    • Ability to follow established procedures, work instructions, and safety practices.
    • Readiness to be stationed in Nairobi, Mombasa, or Kisumu.
