    Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator

    Reporting to: Program and Advocacy Manager

    Job Purpose:

    The purpose of this role is to support the program team in monitoring, tracking progress, and measuring the impact of all programs and further support the senior management team in tracking the execution of the strategic plan and the results thereof.

    Main Roles and responsibilities:

    1. Strategy implementation:
      1. Develop and coordinate the implementation of MTG’s M&E Framework
      2. Project Management: Support the development of appropriate tools for each project
      3. Development and management of M&E department budget (monthly, quarterly and annual).
      4. Update the organization’s progress monitoring tools on a monthly, quarterly basis and annual basis
    2. Data Quality management:
      1. Conduct periodic data quality checks and audits;
      2. Design and review relevant data collection tools;
      3. Collate and analyze data for reports and produce a systematic and analytical progress report to guide management in decision-making.
      4. Ensure that the M&E databases and tools, and indicators are updated routinely and systematically and aligned to deliver donor deliverables and MTG strategic goals/objectives
      5. Prepare information to respond to senior management or donor data queries in an accurate and timely manner.
      6. Review existing data collection and management systems in order to identify gaps and opportunities that inform MEL technological innovations.
    3. Research:
      1. Support research development and implementation;
      2. Contribute to the production of research reports and publications;
      3. Present findings and evidence to the program team
      4. Participate in the preparation and implementation of special studies (e.g. baseline, impact evaluation, mid-term review)
      5. Collate data to support advocacy work
    4. Reporting:
      1. Responsible for the development and submission of quality M&E departmental reports
      2. Review of donor reports prepared by the project officer to review the accuracy of data, and timely submission to the respective coordinator;
      3. Ensure M&E departmental compliance to reporting and budgeting timelines;
      4. Development of the organization’s annual reports and publications
      5. Document lessons, case studies, and success stories of Inclusion in MTG’s activities/programs
      6. Preparing and maintaining minutes of M&E department meetings
      7. Oversee filing and management of departmental records and documents.
    5. Capacity Building:
      1. Provide assistance to project officers in the application of various Monitoring and Evaluation concepts and tools on a need basis.
      2. Develop material and conduct training on Monitoring and Evaluation concepts and principles for MTG staff and volunteers
    6. Staff Management
      1. Supervision of staff M&E staff.
      2. In liaison with the HR Manager, carry out an appraisal of staff under your leadership.
      3. In liaison with the HR Manager, develop a departmental capacity development plan for training the staff
      4. in specific aspects of monitoring and evaluation
    7. Resource mobilization:
      1. Provide input of data, lessons, research, and best practice to the respective coordinators, PAM, and
      2. Executive Director in the development of concepts and proposals.

    Skills & Experience:

    1. Research & report writing skills
    2. Statistical and data analysis skills and ability to use tools such as SPSS, Kobo Collect, Advanced Excel and Microsoft Power Bi
    3. Training & capacity building skills
    4. Planning and Resource mobilization skills
    5. Good communication skills (oral & written)
    6. Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
    7. High proficiency in computer knowledge

    Requirements:

    1. A degree in social sciences or statistics
    2. Postgraduate certificate/diploma in M&E

    Health Coordinator

    Reporting to: Program and Advocacy Manager

    Job Purpose: Manage, monitor, and coordinate the implementation of health program plans and budgets in order to meet the strategies and objectives of MTG

    Main Roles and responsibilities:

    1. Project Management
      1. Oversee all the life skills training offered by MTG under the Health program
      2. Manage the revision, re-design, and development of new training curricula for Health, men’s engagement in health programs, and child protection in health programs
      3. Oversee identification and management of stakeholders and partner relationships in the implementation of health programs
      4. Develop work plans, oversee inception, and track progress in project implementation
    2. Advocacy
      1. Provide leadership in the design and implementation of advocacy initiatives in health programming
    3. Financial Management
      1. Oversee the drawing of effective budgets and management of funds allocated to the health department
    4. Resource Mobilization
      1. Initiate and develop, in consultation with the Program Manager, concepts for funding.
    5. Reporting
      1. Responsible for consolidation of monthly, quarterly and annual departmental reports
      2. Review and approve project reports for submission to donors
    6. Staff Management
      1. Participate in Team Leadership roles including supervision.
      2. Participate in staff mentorship and coaching

    Qualifications:

    • Undergraduate degree from a recognized university in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or Public Health
    • Professional certification in Project Management.
