    Compliance Specialist

    Job Purpose Statement

    To provide effective and efficient 2nd and 3rd level user support, production management, incident management, change management, project management, patch management
    and application administration with respect to Compliance systems and the related interfaces. The systems include Sanction Screening, AML, FATCA, Fraud Management System, GOAMl
    amongst others. This includes support for BAU, projects and changes carried out on any of these applications. To advise Business teams on best architecture for deployment on Business Solutions with respect to the various Business Processes

    Ideal Job Specifications

    • Degree in Computer Science or relevant IT degree from a University with a reputable curriculum.
    • Oracle, Unix and core banking system knowledge
    • Proven experience in supporting AML, Fraud and Compliance systems for at least 5 years
    • 5 years practical proven experience in support and troubleshooting of T24, web technology and programming in Info-basic.
    • Experience with Temenos Fraud Crime Management is an added advantage
    • Experience with SAS AML is an added advantage
    • Proven Experience in Jboss / Tomcat or IBM WAS Web Application Management
    • Proven experience in Core Banking or Applications systems support
    • Proven experience in systems analysis, design, implementation and support.
    • Proven knowledge of banking operations, operations in business units and business impact analysis.
    • Thorough knowledge of the Bank’s core systems.

    Payments Specialist

    Job Purpose Statement

    To provide effective and efficient 3rd level user support, production management, incident management, change management, project management, patch management and application administration with respect to the banks payment systems and interfaces. The systems include SWIFT, K-printer, IPEN, Chequepoint, Amali, CHI, Credit-quest, Kollectpro, CRB, T24, SSP and ARCIB amongst others. This includes support for projects and changes carried out on any of these applications To advise Business teams on best architecture for deployment on Business Solutions with respect to the various Business Processes In collaboration with external vendors, system experts and information security experts the Core Banking Specialist will schedule and direct activities to resolve mentioned systems issues and service problems in a timely and accurate fashion according to agreed SLA

    Ideal Job Specifications

    • Degree in Computer Science or relevant IT degree from a University with a reputable curriculum.

    • Proven experience in supporting a core banking application for at least three years
    • 3 years practical proven experience in support and troubleshooting of T24, web technology and programming in Info-basic.

    Senior Manager, API and Integration

    Job Purpose Statement

    The Senior Manager, Core Banking Systems Support role is to plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations that facilitate the stable operation of the bank’s Core Banking and related system Operations. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing Core Banking initiatives. In collaboration with external vendors, system experts and information security experts the Senior Manager, Core Banking Systems Support will schedule and direct activities to implement business changes in the core banking software and service problems in a timely and accurate fashion.

    Ideal Job Specifications

    • University degree in computer science. Master’s degree would be an added advantage.
    • ITIL Intermediate and other relevant professional qualifications in ICT field.
    • Project Management Certification: PMI or Prince 2
    • Five to Six years’ experience in Application support in medium to large organizations.
    • Four years experience in Database Administration – Oracle, MySQL and Microsoft SQL
    • Six years’ experience in Core Banking Software Design and Development
    • Three years in a supervisory role.
    • Working experience in a bank or other financial services organization.
    • Experience in Management of Support Contracts, RFP’s and Third party support providers.
