    Enterprise Account Manager

    Department: Sales

    Reports to: Head of Sales Enterprise

    Job Purpose: Reporting to Head of Sales Enterprise, the Enterprise Account Manager is expected to independently manage existing accounts and sales within the SimbaNET Sales department. The main focus will be to manage existing accounts, manage churn and burn, do sales acquisitions, collection, and client relations.

    He/she will independently produce and manage quotations / proposals / tenders & will submit them to the Customer.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Managing existing customer base, revenue retention and growth
    • Revenue churn and burn management
    • Identifying and developing suitable prospects in the assigned accounts and sectors to approach for selling SimbaNET products, solutions and services
    • With the approval of the Head of Sales Enterprise, negotiate rates for proposed products and services with customers
    • Ensure customers obtaining services from the company execute appropriate service agreements
    • Make follow up for payments by customers after invoices have been raised as per policy
    • Achieve agreed sales target within the specified times
    • Build and maintain a pipeline that guarantees the achievement of set targets
    • To provide regular feedback from the market on the effectiveness and suitability of the products and services and new product requirements
    • To prepare and submit weekly reports as required and directed by Head of Sales Enterprise
    • Offer support to other divisions such as CSM, Customer Support and Finance in facilitating collections, issue resolutions and upscales

    Targets: Achieve the agreed retention and sales targets month-on-month.

    Required Education, Skills & Experience

    • A Bachelor’s degree in any commercial related field or Information Technology from a recognized university
    • Minimum of 5 years accounts management and corporate selling experience in Telecommunications, ICT or related environments
    • Should have good knowledge in customer relations
    • Good knowledge of Wimax, Fiber and VSAT technologies
    • A good understanding of the Account Management and sales processes and cycles
    • Excellent communications and negotiation skills
    • A team player with the ability to quickly grasp concepts, work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Must be self‐driven and a pleasant individual who is results-oriented
    • Ability to interface and communicate effectively at all levels within a corporate environment

    Job Title: Head of Sales – Enterprise

    Reports to: Managing Director

    Job Purpose: We’re seeking for an experienced sales professional with proven track record to fill the role of Head of Sales Enterprise, who will provide leadership in running our SimbaNET enterprise sales function as well as managing the sales team for purposes of driving sales & achieving sales targets and revenue bottom line.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Business Development and Strategy:

    • Develop SimbaNET enterprise business strategies that appreciates customer needs & market landscape and dynamics
    • Plan market prospects and identify potential clients
    • Identify and achieve new business opportunities
    • Generate, develop and market commercial links with potential clients

    Business Planning and Budgets:

    • Provide a plan for business intervention to achieve results for the business unit as per set annual plan (s).
    • Create sales plans, customer proposals and pricing
    • Tender Management

    Overall Sales and Business Development Management:

    • Commercials and Pricing
    • Overall Brand champion
    • Direct marketing
    • Development of new markets
    • Team Management & staff motivation
    • Special projects
    • Champion partnerships and alliances

    Sales:

    • Responsible for business delivery for the unit against set sales targets & new business opportunities annually.
    • Create budget for teams that is over and above individual budget of Head of Sales Enterprise budget.
    • Execute go-to market strategies
    • Work closely with sales team to deliver on sales strategy & measures and oversee implementation of the same

    Reporting:

    • Drive business reporting on prospects and achievements against targets on monthly basis

    Team Management:

    • Manage the entire sales and business development team
    • Guide sales team to achieve their budget.
    • Drive weekly and daily meetings as applicable.
    • Report the performance of the sales team to reporting manager on the daily/weekly basis.
    • Performance management of the entire reporting team.
    • Run joint business calls and meetings with the sales team to review performance & agree on next measures
    • Take overall responsibility for the performance and achievement of the sales team.

    Required Experience, Education & Skills

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field or in Information Technology from a recognized university. A master’s degree will be an added advantage
    • Minimum of 7 years accounts management and corporate selling leadership experience in Telecommunications, ICT or related environments
    • Ability to analyze current market dynamics and procure sales & strategy solutions
    • Proven leadership experience, with excellent team management and proactive drive
    • Excellent account management skills and familiarity with entire sales process management from lead generation to obtaining of order
    • Proven track record in achieving sales targets in a Telecommunication/ICT environment
    • Excellent communications, reporting and presentation skills
