    • Perform end-to-end manual and automated testing across a complex travel booking product.
    • Become a deep product expert, developing a thorough understanding of the platform's critical logic and user flows.

    • Write and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
    • Test and validate APIs using tools such as Postman.
    • Write and execute SQL queries to support data validation and backend testing.
    • Participate in daily standups, clearly communicating progress, blockers, and testing status.

    • Continuously stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices in QA, and proactively identify ways to implement them across the team.

    Requirements:

    Must have:

    • 2–3 years of hands-on automation QA experience (Playwright), with a strong QA mindset and critical thinking approach.
    • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript (strongly preferred)
    • Experience writing and executing SQL queries.
    • Knowledge of APIs and experience working with tools like Postman.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and proactively, both verbally in standups and in written updates.

    • Ability to incorporate feedback quickly and adapt to a fast-paced team environment.

    Nice to have:

    • A background in Computer Science or a related technical field.
    • Experience using AI tools to support or accelerate QA work.

    Tana Fellowship Program (Business Roles)

    Position overview

    • We are looking for curious, driven and detail-oriented recent graduates to begin their global careers through the Tana Fellowship Program in Business, Operations and Sales Support roles. You will join one of our international partner companies in a full-time, remote role - working with teams across North America and Europe on real business problems from day one. You'll be trusted with important responsibilities, supported by playbooks and training, mentorship and encouraged to ask questions; you'll execute and improve processes, and be expected to grow and learn quickly. If you're excited about starting a global career, this is the perfect role for you!
    • These are non-technical roles. If you are a STEM graduate with an interest in technical and data roles then check out the Tana Fellowship Program.

Depending on your skillset, here are some examples of the roles you might be placed in:

    • RevOps Analyst - Support global Sales teams by using playbooks and calculators to prepare, review and manage sales quotes throughout the deal lifecycle to help drive revenue.
    • Order Management Analyst - Work within Finance Operations to process and validate customer purchase orders to ensure they align with approved quotes and internal systems.
    • Software License Specialist - Monitor, analyse and audit software license usage to optimise utilisation, value and adherence with company policies.
    • Marketing Analyst - Conduct structured online research using tools like LinkedIn to build lead lists for business development initiatives such as webinars, events and outreach campaigns.

    Requirements

    • Exceptional attention to detail and process-orientation – you enjoy getting things right, love checklists and standard operating procedures, and notice small details others might miss.
    • Strong motivation to learn – you're curious, ask good questions, and pick up new tools, technology and concepts quickly.
    • Strong work ethic – you take responsibility for your work, manage your time well and follow through on commitments.
    • A proactive ownership mindset – you don't wait to be told what to do; you flag issues, suggest improvements and take pride in outcomes.
    • Clear written and spoken English communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Recent graduate with a Bachelors or Diploma completed in the last 2 years.
    • Kenyan citizen who is located in Kenya and able to work remotely from Kenya.
    • Most importantly: you're excited about building a long-term global career and are ready to invest the next few years learning, growing and proving what you can do.

Please also read the following carefully:

    • We welcome individuals who are eager to dedicate at least 3 years to build the right skills and track record for global careers.
    • Our roles are aimed at those starting their careers (0-2 years of experience).
    • Our client partners are US and European technology companies creating exciting products in network security, finance, education, healthcare, enterprise software, logistics and much more.
    • Successful candidates will be trained and placed with one of our partner companies, initially for a 3-month Fellowship to learn the role and demonstrate what you can do. If you perform well, you will unlock long-term employment with the partner company.
    • The role is remote / work from home - you are expected to have an appropriate laptop, phone, internet connection, stable power, and home office environment.
    • Depending on the specific role, the work hours may differ - e.g. some roles will align with Kenyan work hours; others may start/finish earlier or later depending on the timezone where the partner company is.

    Tips for your application:

    • To be eligible for Tana, you must be: 1) a Kenyan citizen, and 2) fully finished with university or other educational programs. If you've completed coursework but are awaiting graduation, you may also apply.
    • Tana is a highly competitive program, and as such, requires a rigorous multi-stage application process which will involve the initial application, a timed online assessment, a screening interview and an interview with the Tana team, before client-specific interviews.
    • We highly recommend completing all the materials for this application first, and then coming back to fill in the form in a single session to avoid data loss.
