    Marketing Assistant

    Our client, a medium sized, licensed Non-deposit-taking SACCO based in Nairobi is seeking to fill a vacant position of Marketing Assistant. 

    Reporting to the Operations Manager, the job requirements are:

    Key Roles & Responsibilities

    1. Recruitment of new members to increase deposits, liquidity and shareholdings
    2. Public relations to reduce conflict, misunderstanding between members and society
    3. Marketing of the society’s product and services to ensure visibility and positioning
    4. Follow up on sales enquiries by phone, mails and field visits to ensure members are satisfied with the service quality.
    5. Carry out market research, customer survey to ensure the Sacco is up to date with the latest product and information.
    6. Drawing marketing plans to ensure a clear road map of what is to be achieved is in line with strategic plan.
    7. Submission of monthly reports to ensure results are adhered to and provide relevant information concerning improvement areas and progress.

    Qualification

    1. Diploma in Sales & Marketing
    2. Degree in any of the following: Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Computer Science will be an added advantage
    3. Computer skills on MS Office
    4. At least 1 years’ experience in a similar position
    5. Computer Literate.
    6. Excellent Communication and Customer Care Skills.
    7. Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines 
    8. Unquestionable Integrity and strong ethical standards

    Internal Auditor

    Our client, a medium sized, licensed Non-deposit-taking SACCO based in Nairobi is seeking to fill a vacant position of Internal Auditor. 

    Reporting to the BOD/AUDIT COMMITTEE/CEO, the job requirements are:

    Key Roles & Responsibilities

    • Determine internal audit scope, develop annual plans, document process and prepare audit findings report
    • Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
    • Undertaking regular transaction and systems review to confirm that internal control systems are in place and are working
    • Undertaking investigate audits on request
    • Obtaining, analyzing and evaluating accounting documentation, reports and data
    • Prepare audit reports that reflect audit’s results and document process on a monthly basis
    • Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement
    • Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
    • Maintain open communication with management and audit committee
    • Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions
    • Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards

    Qualifications

    • CPA (K)
    • Degree in any of the following: Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Computer Science
    • CISA Certification an added advantage
    • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and ERP’s
    • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
    • Strong comprehension of ICT systems and technologies.
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to handle a range of systems.
    • Ability to monitor ICT & Audit Policies, Standards and Procedures.
    • Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines

    Operations Manager

    Our client, a medium sized, licensed Non-deposit-taking SACCO based in Nairobi is seeking to fill a vacant position of Operations Manager. 

    Reporting to the CEO, the job requirements are:

    Key Roles & Responsibilities

    • Develop credit and marketing departmental strategy, plans and budgets and monitor their implementation
    • Represent the CEO in meetings and advocacy forums and assume the CEO’s authority in the CEO’s absence
    • Facilitate the installation of documented processes and harmonize operating procedures to ensure maintenance of high levels of performance and accountability to goals, set objectives and targets
    • Conduct risk analysis and ensure implementation of the recommendations
    • Handling of members complains on credit issues so that they can be satisfied
    • Ensure accurate financial and procurement procedures
    • Controlling and directing functions of the credit department.
    • Management of the leave register
    • Monitoring marketing activities to provide management with relevant information

    Qualifications

    1. Degree in any of the following: Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or a closely related discipline
    2. A Master’s degree in a business related discipline is an added advantage
    3. Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and ERP’s
    4. At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position
    5. Minimum of CPA I
    6. Strong comprehension of ICT systems and technologies.
    7. Good analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to handle a range of systems.
    8. Ability to monitor control Policies, Standards and Procedures.
    9. Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines 
    10. Unquestionable Integrity and strong ethical standards
