    Country PMO

    Job Description    

    Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Country PMO (Kenya), to join the CCBA Country Commercial Team. The successful applicant will be reporting into Country Strategy & Performance. The role will contribute to CCBA's vision by running all country operational initiatives that will accelerate growth and contribute to CCBA Strategic priorities. Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40 percent of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. CCBA is a NARTD market leader in Africa. CCBA has an extensive footprint in Africa, employing over 16 000 employees.     Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    1. Lead country operational projects following CCBA quality standards, guidelines and frameworks.
    2. Coordinate local cross-discipline referents to ensure all required inputs are included and aligned. Identify local needs and opportunities to capture in the market and recommend a creative solutions clarifying how it will contribute to CCBA objectives.
    3. Define the local project plans with clear deliverables, deadlines, metrics and resources.
    4. Identify and manage risks and deviations and recommend creative ideas to mitigate.
    5. Provide project information and progress to Group Strategic PMO Team and require support when needed.
    6. Lead project management of all initiatives including managing of delivery of tasks and stakeholders (KO and CCBA stakeholders ).
    7. Responsible and accountable for on-time and in-full delivery of all projects including setting up project management routines
    8. Responsible and accountable for risk escalation and tracking
    9. Update project templates and plans and report providing feedback to PMO
    10. Skills, Experience & Education    

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's Degree: Finance, Economics or Business Administration
    2. Post Graduate Qualification: Project Management or equivalent

    Experience:

    1. +10 years with proven working experience in project management or previous participation in planning or project teams.
    2. Demonstrated ability to coordinate various projects simultaneously.
    3. Written and verbal communication skills.
    4. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and solve problems creatively.
    5. Demonstrated familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
    6. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    Job Description

The role will contribute to CCBA vision by managing the Knowledge and Insights team at a country/regional level leading local analysis and researches, crossreferencing multiple data sources to articulate quality actionable insights in order to support decision-making for the Market and CCBA Strategic objectives.     Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    1. Provide market insights and specialist knowledge to regions/country, channels and key functions to support business decision-making process.
    2. Ensure accurate and timely availability of contracted syndicated reports (i.e., Nielsen).
    3. Define research needs in each country.
    4. Lead local analysis, studies and researches to support country decision-making process.
    5. Develop detailed analysis platform of customer data used for superior category interaction and category development to support Sales & Distribution.
    6. Analytical work contribution to the development of the corporate and business strategy
    7. Contribute to the design and implementation of key business performance management mechanisms
    8. Responsible for market potential studies and provide customer, channel, category, pack, brand, competitor, and consumer specific information.
    9. Implement insights into local market performances across all categories, global market best practices and future opportunities.
    10. Analyze and have deep market knowledge in order to provide support in the developing short term, medium- and long-term pricing strategies
    11. Development of econometric modelling to formulate the short-, medium- and long-term pricing strategies
    12. Skills, Experience & Education    

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's Degree: Finance, Economics or Business Management
    2. Post Graduate Qualification: MBA, Data Analytics (added advantage)

    Experience:

    1. 10+ years of experience with proven track record in knowledge and insight, researches teams
    2. Demonstrated market, customer, consumer and shopper knowledge and insights (outside in thinking)
    3. Ability to implement strategies and deliver initiatives against agreed business objectives
    4. Proven experience in multi-category and multi-geographic operations
    5. Credibility in developing, influencing and leading teams (direct and indirect) to achieve business results
    6. Demonstrated ability to manage in a networked complex environment with multiple stakeholders across the System (countries and KO teams) with interpersonal savvy
    7. Ability to apply consumer shopper and market information to business issues
    8. Ability to develop reports and performance dashboard capability
    9. Demonstrated analytical skills, with proven ability to extract insight from data and solve problems
    10. Assess business performance and recommend priorities and actions based on strong commercial and financial acumen
