Commercial & Pricing Officer Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Follow ups on timely quotes/queries according to the set group KPIs, 24 hours for general quotes, on or before deadline of tenders or special inquiries
• Offering direction and instructions to the pricing team based in Mombasa.
• Ensure financial aspect and service aspects of contracts are clear to all parties.
• Monthly report on client evolution and advising the management of any significant changes.
• Keeping a close monitor on selected client’s performance and holding regular review/KPI meetings with the operation teams.
• Attend regular client meetings and corridor country visits on quarterly basis and as and when required by management.
• Monitoring any significant developments by competition and informing management of the same.
• Collecting and analyzing market information to determine company position and help develop and review business strategies.
• Preparing monthly reports to assist forecasting, measuring market share, market trends and demand.
• Monitor monthly/yearly volumes and workout with the rest of the commercial teams on a strategy to secure more volumes and meet the budget figures.
• Ensure that the monthly set budget volumes per country is achieved
• Develop three new clients across the board with an average volume of 200 FT per Month

Requirements for the Commercial & Pricing Officer Job

• Degree in Business Related field, Supply Chain Management a plus
• 5 Years’ experience in project management in freight forwarding / logistics industry
• Ms- Office Proficient
• Pro-active, Meticulous, Integrity, Team Player

• Develop a marketing strategy for the gym in line with company objectives.
• Confer with management on reports, forecasts, budgets, policy and future planning.
• Ensure that gym members and guests receive an efficient, friendly, consistent and personalized service from all team members.
• Making sure all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively.
• Maximize revenue opportunities and aid member retention/extension through developing new challenges, promotions and schemes.
• To manage the financial performance of the department in line with the profit plan using key monitors and financial targets to evaluate the department’s performance and make future plans.
• Controlling costs without compromising standards.
• Communicate performance standards and expectations in a way that motivates team members in the areas of accountability, to take action.
• Effectively manage the performance of team members in line with Company guidelines, to ensure business results are realized and to enable career development, progression and succession planning.
• Identify training and development needs on an ongoing basis through hands on support and frequent interaction with team members.

Qualifications for the Gym Marketing Manager Job
