    Communications Officer

    Responsibilities for the Communications Officer Job

    • Assists in preparation of communications strategic plan and tools
    • Conceptualize, maintain and create updated content for all communication platforms, including Newsletters, Publications, Website and Social Media
    • Prepares and edits press releases in close coordination with Communications department.
    • Drafting of official documents, including research, fact checking and editing
    • Liaise with key departments to develop proactive communications plans to support their business objectives, projects and programs
    • Communicate the company’s vision by developing and implementing short- and long-term Media strategies for specific projects and initiatives
    • Proof reading and editing of public documents and publications
    • Maintain documentation management system (hard copy and on network)
    • Perform other reasonable administrative duties

    Communications Officer Job Qualification

    • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Communications
    • At least three years relevant experience
    • Excellent public relations skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to function effectively under pressure and be deadline orientated
    • Ability to administrate and organize own work to ensure that it is accurate and meets quality targets, reasonable deadlines and reporting requirements.

    Credit Manager

    Basic Function: The Credit Manager role is to liaise with banks and ensure that the company gets credit to purchase equipment and vehicles for lease. It also entails appraising clients and keeping an eye on client payments for leases to ensure banks are paid on time. It will require close working relations with finance to monitor bank repayment timelines.

    Credit Manager Job Responsibilities

    • Underwriting and approving of credit transactions
    • Sourcing for structured financing
    • Manage Bank requirements and negotiations
    • Evaluation of financial performance of borrower, and proposing an appropriate risk rating
    • Ensure compliance with portfolio limits, quality and soundness of all credit transactions
    • Assists in obtaining credit committee approvals; ensuring compliance with Credit Policy; reviewing legal documentation
    • Monitoring of industry developments as well as reviewing the quarterly financial results of these clients
    • Credit file maintenance in accordance to requirement per credit policy
    • Monitor the exposure and limits, portfolios & control risk positions; Identifies early client risk/exposure, early detection of volatile industries and markets for assigned portfolio.
    • Perform credit analysis and credit report write-up on assigned portfolios
    • Actively participate and help implementing the change agenda in Credit Risk
    • Cultivating and maintaining a good customer relationship with our clients, brokers, agents ec
    • Market Research on financial products /solutions
    • Carry out background research on the clients as well as the clients’ industry
    • Production analysis and reporting
    • Make various credit checks

    Management

    • Maintain a department organizational structure sufficient to meet all goals and objectives
    • Measure department performance with appropriate metrics
    • Provide for ongoing training of the department staff
    • Manage relations with banks and other agencies

    Desired Qualifications for the Credit Manager Job

    • 5+ years of credit experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business/finance.
    • Have a thorough knowledge of credit-related laws.
    • Have excellent managerial and negotiation skills.
