    Care Manager – Healthcare

    Purpose for the Job

    • The main purpose for the job is to ensure that Minet clients receive quality healthcare at the most reasonable cost, enhance customer experience and offer clinical support to the business.

    Duties and Responsiblities

    • Case management & pre-authorization
      • Timely adjudication and issuance of approval 
      • letters as per policy guidelines
      • Ensure that all admitted patients are visited and 
      • case management process is compliant to ISD
      • protocol 
      • Management of special cases & arbitration
      • Management of ACOS & ALOS
      • Manage local and abroad evacuations
    • Cost containment
      • Enforcement of rates
      • Discount negotiations
      • Client advisory
      • Step down management
      • Discharge planning
      • Homecare management
    • Call Centre Management
      • Effective management of the 24-hour call centre
      • Ensure seamless access to care
      • Professional, accurate and timely responses to 
      • Attend to customer feedback/complaints
      • Timely escalation and reporting of any incidences
      • Maintain desired call drop rate
    • Enhance Customer Experience
      • Establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as health care service providers, insurers, contracted providers etc.
    • Referral to CDM programs - process management
    • Preparation of relevant reports
    • Any other duty as may be assigned by the supervisor

    Account Manager, Business Retention

    Purpose for the Job

    • Manage key accounts and ensure customer delight by utilizing Minet’s expertise and resources.

    Duties and Responsiblities

    • Develop processes and procedures to ensure satisfactory delivery of service to customers.
    • Ensure optimal use of digital tools where applicable.
    • Develop mechanisms of customer engagement and feedback.
    • Execute and implement management strategies for the department.
    • Provide professional advice to clients ensuring that they are fully aware of the ramifications of any relevant provisions of the Insurance Act  and/or Industry developments.
    • Attend client’s renewal meetings, place insurance covers in accordance with client’s requirements.
    • Regular review of underwriter performance through a practical scorecard.
    • Peruse and confirm that policy documents and endorsements issued by underwriters conform to the cover issued.
    • Ensure compliance with ISO and other company policies especially those pertaining to quality control.
    • Prepare and negotiate quotation for accounts on tender.
    • Carry out insurance portfolio GAP analysis to identify organic growth opportunities.
    • Participate in market negotiations & risk placement.
    • Ensure timely premium settlement, receipting and allocation of premiums for the accounts within your management.
    • Study, internalize and advise both the business and the clients on the trends in the economic sectors allocated to you.
    • Ensure SLA’s and annual service plans for your clients are in place and adhered to.
    • Train clients on products and emerging risks.

    Accounts Assistant, Finance & Administration

    Purpose for the Job

    • To manage underwriters accounts, reconcile general ledger and subledgers within stipulated deadlines.

    Duties and Responsiblities
    Underwriter Management

    • Conduct monthly reconciliation of premium payable and premium receivable accounts, as well as regular meetings with underwriters to ensure correct premium payment allocation.
    • Oversee daily premium collections in the system and guarantee accurate premium payment processing.

    Reconciliations

    • Reconciliation and preparation of monthly investment income.
    • Reconciliation of insurance balances between the company with the assigned underwriter.
    • Monthly reconciliation and analysis of assigned 
    • General Ledger account.
    • Reconciliation of intercompany accounts and ensure signed off for payment recoveries. 

    Reporting

    • Preparation of management accounts and consolidated financial statements.
