    Cloud Infrastructure Architect

    Role Purpose: Cloud Infrastructure Architect: Guides and builds architectures to support business, application and technology requirements on the cloud.

    Provides plans and strategies on cloud adoption and evolution.

    Works with other internal and external teams on quality assurance, information security, networking, storage, compute and data.

    Provides cloud governance framework and oversees its implementation and monitoring.

    Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

    • Responsible for architecting and implementing Cloud infrastructure and foundation elements as well as automations to enable standardized hosting of applications in cloud.
    • Collaborate with various application areas, infrastructure design, network, security and other teams to drive technical decisions and deliver solutions Cloud team initiatives.
    • Provision Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Foundation in Azure to meet application demands.
    • Provide solution architecture and support issue resolution for cloud infrastructure delivery by working closely with application and other teams.
    • Build Cloud Foundation to establish necessary building blocks for delivering infrastructure.
    • Responsibilities include Cloud user management, security, and capacity, monitoring and configuring application development tools.
    • Architect & automate templates for deploying IaaS, PaaS solutions by using Infrastructure as a code and Configuration as a code.
    • Standardize offerings to achieve cost optimizations and efficiencies.
    • Implement dashboards for managing cloud performance and budgetary alerts.
    • Analyze existing on premise application landscapes to implement refactoring or rebuilding major application initiatives in Cloud.
    • Create integrations for Cloud and On-premise Applications and play a major role in redesigning applications with integrations
    • Advice on new Azure offerings that will bring in more efficiency in operations, performance and cost.

    Requirements:

    • Possess Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer science/Mathematics or a related engineering discipline
    • 3+ years relevant experience with at least 2 in managing and configuring solutions bases on MS Azure technology.
    • Strong understanding for utilizing native cloud technologies for user management, security, costing and tools.
    • Broad in-depth understanding for onboarding applications onto IaaS, PaaS and SaaS offerings, deployment automation, DevOps, scripting, containers and Cloud Governance.
    • Strong communication, documentation, managing delivery timelines, handling multiple projects and multitasking skills are a must.
    • Certification in the Azure will be an added advantage (Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-103), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-300, AZ-301) and Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500))

    Senior Systems Engineer (VMWare)

    Job / Role Description: To work in a technology restoration and availability command center as a VMware L2/L3

    The successful candidate will serve as a Senior Systems Engineer (VMWare) reporting to ICT-Infrastructure unit.

    This role is responsible for providing operational support and proactive maintenance of the hosting Microsoft Windows and Linux Virtual Servers.

    This position will be an escalation point for support engineers within the Windows and Linux Operations group and will help management define support methodology and run books.

    Technical Skills Required:

    • Define, build and maintain in good operational conditions complex technical environments with respect to SLAs.
    • Install, Configure & Manage VMware vSphere 6.0 ESXi Infrastructure.
    • Experience working with external providers in the day-to-day support of hardware installation, repairs and decommissioning
    • Must be able to create and modify PowerCLI scripts for day to day management of virtual environments
    • Strong experience in Troubleshooting VMware related issues
    • Experience with Operating System Windows and Linux

    Minimum Requirements

    • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
    • Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based environments.
    • Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware)
    • Experience with monitoring systems
    • Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
    • Enterprise storage administration
    • ITIL foundation certification is an added advantage

    Preferred Skills

    • VCP certification-VMware 6x Certification;
    • 5+ years of experience with in a related role in troubleshooting, analysing and problem solving in successfully resolving issues with Windows & Linux virtual servers;
    • Knowledge of the basic understanding of TCP/IP network;
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues on all tiers;
    • Experience in managing VMware vSphere environments;
    • Experience in managing DNS, DHCP, Remote Desktop Session Host, DFS, and Microsoft Failover Clusters;
    • Experience in VMWare (EXSi) support;
    • Experience in VMware /RHEL recovery planning and implementation;
    • Experience with VMWare NetBackup a plus;

    Scrum Master

    Role Purpose: The Senior Scrum Manager will lead the Freestyle team and development partners with a well-defined Freestyle customized software development life cycle process.

    This would include processing definition, Agile Scrum based Software development, Hybrid Agile based module development along with cross functional communication, software technical project management, requirements traceability, source code control, test case management and defect tracking.

    This position also defines the metrics to be used to track process improvement in SAFe (Scaled Agile for enterprise) and also performs but not limited to the role of Release Train Engineer. This position leads the other Scrum masters of multiple Agile teams and provides clear resource loading of software team and capacity planning of the software. This position also represents the team at Release level to report status of multiple Agile feature teams to leadership.

    Sr. Scrum Master lead will be required to work within the Freestyle global matrixed organization which will provide demand from Freestyle functions (Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Engineering and Manufacturing).

     

    This role will work with multiple development partners to build scalable software and module development lifecycle processes. The Module will include Software and Electrical interfaces for process, projects and tools.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate his team for better creativity and tries to improve the efficiency of the development team.
    • Responsible for managing the scrum process with the coordination of scrum team in Agile methodology.
    • Responsible to remove the impediments for the scrum team.
    • Arranged daily stand-up meetings, facilitate meetings, schedule meetings, demo and decision-making processes in order to ensure quick inspection and proper use of adaptation processes.
    • Helps product owners to make the product backlogs in good shape and make them ready for the next sprint.
    • Responsible to Conduct retrospective meetings.
    • Organizes and facilitates the sprint planning meeting.
    • Acts as safeguard for his team.

    Technical Skills:

     

    • Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
    • Good skills to coach the team how to follow agile scrum, which really works.
    • Understand the basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.
    • Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices.
    • Knowledge of other Agile approaches, like: Kanban, Crystal, FDD, XP, etc.
    • Knowledge about other methodologies other than Agile-Scrum, so that he can explain other methodologies to motivate his team.
    • Basic knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand his team needs.
    • Should have knowledge about Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
    • Ability to take and understand his commitment to deliver the product on time.
    • Know about the value of metrics and incremental delivery.
    • Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.
    • Familiar with common development practices, Service oriented environments, and Agile practices.

    The successful jobholder will be required to possess the following qualifications: –

    • A Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or Business related field with relevant IT Professional qualifications. Graphic or Visual Design, Digital Media Design, other visual specialty or any other related qualifications will be an added advantage.
    • 5 yrs + Scrum Master experience in any well-known software environment.
    • Creative problem solver with experience leading projects and building consensus with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
    • Demonstrated ability to scope and estimate efforts accurately, prioritize tasks and goals independently and rapidly produce deliverables in a fast-paced iterative environment.
