Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Three years of administrative, project management or real estate experience is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge U.S. Government regulations; Foreign Affairs Manual (14 FAM), GSO Housing Handbook, and Embassy policies. Strong
understanding of Facility Management operations and operating practices and procedures. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required. Good knowledge of preparing a residence for occupants is required. Must know basic maintenance requirements.
Education Requirements:
A High School Diploma is required.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Level IV English (fluency, speaking/reading/writing) is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent interpersonal skills are a must. Must have ability to work under pressure and able to organize and manage multiple
tasks. Ability to work both independently and in a team is required. Driving skills required. Must have a valid driving license
and be willing to drive U.S. Government vehicles. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level Security Clearance.

Job Summary
Incumbent serves as the Management Analyst and Special Project Coordinator for the Embassy Mogadishu Management Sections such as – but not limited to - the Human Resources, Financial Management, and General Services Office. Assignments are usually given on a project basis and the incumbent is expected to fully analyze the problem, gather data and information find and evaluate alternative solutions, and make a formal recommendations. In addition, the employee performs administrative analysis; with his/her work primarily focusing on the day-to-day administration of the management section including the responsibility for making formal recommendations and decisions for delivery of management services. Ideal candidate would periodically be called upon to travel to Mogadishu on a TDY basis. Position requires Secret Security Clearance, and reports to the Deputy Management Counselor.

Duties
Basic Function of the Position:
The incumbent serves as an Information Management Assistant (IMA) assigned to support the classified or unclassified computer networks and messaging systems as needed. The IMA also may assist with telephone and radio management, circuit and network management, and Diplomatic Post Office (DPO) and unclassified pouch operations as required. The IMA reports to a U.S. Direct Hire (USDH) IT Manager.
