Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily living activities including hygiene, mobility, and feeding
• Support nurses in monitoring patients' vital signs and general condition
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient care areas
• Assist with patient transfers and positioning
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of medical waste
• Uphold patient dignity, confidentiality, and safety at all times
• Report any changes in patient condition to the nursing team

Requirements:

• Certificate in Healthcare Assistance or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Key Duties

Pre-operative Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating theatre, instruments, and equipment according to the surgical list.
• Conduct thorough pre-operative patient assessments and ensure all documentation is complete.
• Confirm surgical consent, patient identity, and site marking.
• Uphold strict infection prevention and control standards.

Intra-operative Responsibilities

• Scrub, circulate, or assist depending on the surgical procedure requirements.
• Maintain a sterile field and anticipate the surgeon's needs throughout procedures.
• Perform instrument, sponge, and sharp counts accurately.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes during surgery.
• Operate theatre equipment safely and efficiently.

Post-operative Responsibilities

• Participate in immediate post-operative care and safe handover to the recovery unit.
• Document all nursing interventions, observations, and incidents accurately.
• Ensure proper cleaning, sterilization, and storage of theatre equipment and instruments.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Nursing
• Higher Diploma in Perioperative/Theatre Nursing (Mandatory)
• Valid NCK License
• Minimum 2 years theatre experience
• Strong skills in sterile technique, patient safety & perioperative care

• Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collections
• Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
• Liaise with insurance companies and corporate clients
• Prepare aging reports and collection status updates
• Ensure compliance with hospital billing and financial controls

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a Credit Controller in a hospital or healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of hospital billing systems and insurance processes
• Good analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
