    Partnerships Engagement Manager

    Job Summary

    The Partnerships Engagement Manager will be responsible for providing and leading the development and implementation of the Partnership Framework and service model to be used across the organization. He/she will also be responsible for the solutions (i.e. CRM) and reporting needs of the stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Gain understanding of current processes tools, performance and voice of the customer/stakeholders across Amref
    • Accountable for documentation and socialization of the full business requirements for future state
    • Lead design and implementation of future state including (but not limited to) identification of fit for purpose technology platform, standardized processes, data standards, reporting at various levels, and operational service model
    • Lead process to establish and standardize metrics for measuring and reporting on Partnership effectiveness
    • Lead design of implementation approach including pilots, user acceptance testing, stakeholder input, improvements, and phased global deployments
    • Define and lead change management approach including the strategy for engagement of users and stakeholders, training, support, and communications
    • Accountable for tracking and reporting on realization of benefits throughout implementation and in operational state
    • Accountable for managing the technology supplier to ensure it is fit for purpose (functionality, ease of use, configuration, end user support)
    • Influence technology vendor strategic roadmap (CRM for NGOs) to improve alignment with Amref requirements
    • Continuous updates of standard operating procedures with ability to influence globally aligned ways of working
    • Due Diligence process ownership

    Global Partnerships Manager

    Job Summary

    The Global Partnerships Manager will be responsible for providing support in the implementation of a robust strategic partnerships to promote the Amref brand and profile globally. In addition, the jobholder will be responsible for building strategic alliances and partnerships, and compilation.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Support the development and implementation of partnership strategy to increase Amref’s engagement of partners for Africa;
    • Identify and build strategic alliances and partnerships that galvanize action and bring resources and visibility for Amref and its work in Africa;
    • Lead in acquisition and maintenance of private sector partnerships for Africa;
    • Negotiate and engage in new partnerships with both bilateral and private sector donors;
    • Drive relationship management efforts to maintain & grow existing corporate and other partner relationships;
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute Amref’s initiatives and partnerships;
    • Build country office staff capacities and sensitization on private sector partnerships and resource mobilization;
    • Identify business opportunities with prospective and new partners for Amref enterprises;
    • Ensure that corporate engagements, new & existing transition to use Enterprise products;
    • Lead the AHAIC secretariat on behalf of Amref, while managing and engaging with key stakeholders;
    • Serve as key resource staff for partnerships and participate in working groups;
    • Develop work plans for strategic partnerships;
    • Initiate/lead forums to advance Amref’s corporate priorities;
    • Work with partners to ensure that their communications and joint programs/initiatives build Amref’s visibility and global presence;
    • Build and strengthen Amref’s unique value proposition to partners
